They should have an old school UFC, no weight limits/classes.

Watch the Open Weight Abu Dhabi competition for that.
as far as HW goes, most guys will cut down to 206 for LHW, other guys naturally bigger that can't cut usually don't have the ability to do what the top guys can do, or go into a different sport.
Well that's not difficult considering there's only like 6 heavyweights to begin with I will agree that he's definitely top five based on his physical tools and talent alone. But I would put him right at 5 to honest. Dream isn't bad, but it's kind of hard to live up to Pride. Pride was just such a fantastic production from the very start it's almost become legendary to the people who grew up watching it. But for it's part, Dream is also a very very good production at least in my opinion. If you don't think Lesnar is a top 5 HW in UFC, I'm not sure what you've been watching.
This seems like as good a place as any to mention this, but according to ESPN.com, Ken Shamrock vs. Frank Shamrock is on for sometime in 2009
and also elite XC is gone lolol serve them well
Helps if you read the posts a page back where we were talking about it and who we thought would be going where etc. And seriously, who the fuck cares about the Shamrocks personal feud. It's been going on for how long now? It's unfortunate that the fight is going to occur long after either one of them was relevant to MMA.and also elite XC is gone lolol serve them well
frank is still fairly relevant, not long ago he was strikeforce champ and number 1 contender, who took cung le a few rounds. speaking of I think pro elite was owner of strikeforce, soooo does that mean cung le is free? for that matter gilbert melendez?
The shitty thing about Cung Le is the fact that he is getting a bit older now. I think he's what 36? So I mean if we're being serious, he probably has a year or two left in him before he starts what I like to call the Chuck Liddell Slide. Frank on the other hand hasn't participated in a meaningful fight since Cung Le(imo.) Melendez would be a nice addition to just about any serious brand.
Strikeforce isn't part of proelite as far as I know so they are still around. They are one of the few promotions actually making money.
strikeforce is still in business, wasn't owned by pro-elite. they owned elitexc, cage rage, king of the cage, and ICON.
