Also still not really impressed with what i'm seeing yet. I think release is pretty far off though so it's got room to improve..which it better

Looks horribly buggy so far. Good thing its not due out until next year.

Not really impressed with anything that i see, other than the Mass Effect conversation wheel they aren't really bringing anything new to the table that i haven't seen in the past.

The actual UI itself isn't bad, it's the extra dark part on both sides that brings it down. Whatever it is, the dark tech background thing.

I know I won't be playing, though. Shit looks worse than WoW already, at least the environments, and this is over 5 years later.

But what does that mean? Space combat is an alternative gameplay experience to the primary game of storytelling, questing, and ground-based combat. In space combat, you fly your personal ship to various “hot spots” on your galaxy map. From there, you will blast your way through asteroid fields, enemy fighters, frigates, destroyers, and a variety of other obstacles that will evoke memories of some of the great Star Wars™ space battles.

I gotta say the graphics seemed to work much better in the space environment, didn't look nearly as bad when there's no character models around and the environments change fast.

Looked a bit too on-rails though, but it may serve as a good minigame type thing if you can enhance your space ship and so on.

had no idea Bioware was finally pushing beta testing in large numbers. Will probably never get an invite nonetheless.

I think its still in the pre-beta stage, I would think that they would announce that they are moving into the beta stages.
