Lost my authenticator when my phone impacted the floor and died.
Cheers to 45 minutes on the phone with these guys because I forgot my goddamn password.

Ok, so Vette can still use 2 blasters but Andronokis can only use 1. wtf..
Created a new lvl50 because I'm impatient. What's the worse that could happen? Jedi Counselor healer that I have no experience with, pffff.
I got this too, googling took me to this old as fuck post:

Downloaded that and ran it and it updated my launcher again and it works fine now.
I think Shadow/Assassin and Sentinel/Marauder have lost an ability. I forget the names, but it's the stronger of the two striking abilities they get early on.
So, is this expansion a total reboot of everything or just building on what's already there? I didn't do any reading.
Level cap raise with new content for that level range is the big part. Crafting got a pretty big overhaul and all companions can now swap between the 3 roles (but they have pretty generic skillsets, every lightsaber wielder will have the same skills for the 3 roles for example), gear got adjusted a bit in that they removed Strength/Willpower/Aim/Cunning and merged it all in to a single stat (mastery). Level sync added so when you go to a planet you're automatically scaled down to a high end level for that area, you keep all skills but stats are downscaled. Pretty sure they added some incentive to go back and do all the heroic party areas for a weekly quest but I haven't looked in to it. Aside from that I don't think there's any real sweeping changes to the core game. Couple of new and adjusted skills/traits for classes is probably about it.
Fallen Empire story is amazing, action packed, very cinematic. I can't stress how much an improvement the story and cinematics are over the original content. It plays very much like a single player game. You can solo the entire thing if you desire. I got from chapter 1 to chapter 9 solo tonight, pretty much playing non stop except for two bathroom breaks. Ended up completing the "main" story in about 7 hours, but there is plenty of stuff to do at the end. Because it's BioWare, that means gathering items/resources/people to strengthen your alliance.
Be aware that once you start the Fallen Empire content, a lot of the game will change. The game forces you to click through a confirm screen 4-5 times to make sure you REALLY want to start it.
Some thoughts on the Fallen Empire story, spoiler warning:
Spoiler: show
I just got booted and can't log in.
EDIT: Logged in but server is acting weird.
Yeah, its gone
Going forward into KotFE you can solo everything related to the story quests. Also, most of the story flashpoints originally in the game now have a solo mode (and since I am playing this strictly as a single player game, its fricking awesome).
All hail our robotic lord & savior, Jesus Bot.
He's the strongest thing in the game as far as I'm concerned.
Does he even take damage?
Yes and no. It CAN die to certain boss mechanics (one hit KO moves) but it's pretty rare. What you really have to be careful of is that it automatically dismisses when you level up and you have to resummon it. If you aren't paying attention and just jump into the next set of enemies you could have a bad time. Even worse, killing an add during a boss fight and you level up and it goes poof.
I am pretty much just facerolling my Marauder through everything. Trying to get HK-51 right now
Finding his components is retarded. What all this bullshit.
