The $220 price is based off euro conversion of the listed price of 150 euro from some other european site. Don't take that price seriously, it would never sell for $220, and i'm not even sure the 150 euro price is correct, it could have just been put there as PH like so many other retailers do until an official announcement is made.

Also preorders should start on Thursday. All digital pre-orders will be made exclusively through Origin, thats the only place to digitally buy it.

i wasn't sure if i was going to even play this (i try to talk myself out of MMOs now) but a few friends have already ordered so i might do the deluxe as some of those items sound cool... i hate spending a lot on preordering a MMO though. maybe that's due to FFXIV

That's quite a pricey collectors edition (which has already sold out btw). Also, I see in order to get the deluxe edition you have to do it via Origin. I guess they had to get people to use their Steam-esque service somehow.

The CE comes with an exclusive $80 figurine from Gentle Giant (they make pretty nice quality shit) which is probably why the price is so high and why it's sold out already. It's an actual Limited Collectors Edition, sort of like vanilla WoW's CE.

Once they are gone they won't be printing any more.

On EA's investor page they put out a release today detailing the special editions available for preorder as well as reveal a lovely piece of news.
