Mind Trick's que times pissed me off. Rerolled on Keller's Void as a BH
I'm like 8 hours in and level 10. I really don't feel like doing all the missions over again. I know that it will be quicker since I know wtf to do but its a good 6 hours of running in circles.
Unless there is free transfer I prolly will stay here.
Also what crew skills are good? I was told slicing is great money and picked that up. I would like to make my own weapons so armstech but should I pair it up with investigation or something else?
EDIT: Did my first bg and was thrown off by seeing a level 50 then I noticed my stats were increased.
I also like that it's instant respawn but your delay to get in combat is to fly in, gives you an idea of where everyone is on the battlefield and feels like there is no pause in the combat, a very good system.
One last thing, anyone else go sith assassin path and know when we get some more tricks? I thought when I chose my path I would get a few new abilities but I haven't yet.
8 hours and only lv 10? D:
Fuck yeah. Finished act 1 on my BH. Targaryen wasn't taken.
FIRE AND BLOOD LEGACY BITCHES
hows the population on this? I read in a couple places that going around the game is incredibly linear and seems dead to something called sharding(from what I understand it's basically instancing of zones kinda like eq2?)
Bought it last night...can't lie I'm fucking blown away by how well it came out. Story is fucking win, love the cut scenes and chat.
Spoiler: show
Starting to get better
I'm 8 hours in because I spent 2 hours getting a sith warrior to level 5 to find out the class I want to play is the sith inquisitor. Then I spent a lot of time screwing around and actually killing everything in my path along with going through the UI menus and figuring out what each setting did.
I will say I'm really liking the voice acting as I actually pay attention to the story and feel compelled to help my master and her objectives for a bigger purpose then other games like wow where you get quest from random farmer a then random townsmen b.
Also anyone saying this game is dead needs to wait a few weeks. It came out on the 20th and a LOT of people got it as a gift for Christmas rather then buying it outright 5 days earlier or were waiting for the holiday giftcards/money to purchase it. On top of that we have thousands of people who were just out on vacation with family for this whole week who will pick it up or come back and play it.
Releasing so close to Christmas was a good thing but is going to hide the actual number of people who will be playing the game. Give it till mid January and you should see a boom of people in the next few weeks.
Anyone higher level know if crew jobs are worth taking time to knock out early or come back when you got some money. I'm just wondering if I could make something really good for my level with armscrafting(I think that's what it's called) or are they just slightly better then quest rewards and I should come back later.
Maybe start to focus around crew levels AFTER you get a speeder. I did it beforehand and found myself constantly under 40k. Yes a speeder is necessary at lvl 25, it makes life easier on you.
But now that we're on the topic of crew skills, I regret going Armstech, selling blaster and rifles are really slow on my server.
Edit: What I mean by this, you can cap out on Lv 2 stuff quickly. But don't go on to Lv3 items until after 25. That way you can just focus on saving up for ability upgrades (which increase) and mount license
I'm also writing a Trooper/BH guide if anyone is interested. It will cover PvP and just overall rotation shit. Plus gameplay basics
get slicing for a crew skill pre 40, make millions, decide later what to switch to
Made a new character but the hairstyle I like clips through her head a lot and it's quite annoying anything I can do to fix it?
