Books are greater than movies! I never was a big fan of HP but I still might go see it. It makes me happy that so many people like the series, even if it's not my particular taste.

Wow, i kinda feel they've gotten better as they go, partly because the books also got better, but i really think the actings improved ALOT!

Another wuick thing, i heard the last book is being split into 2 films! Thats pretty cool if it's true, i always felt they cut wayway to much of building the characters up and just skipt to all the big scenes.

Yeah it's correct. From what I've heard there's so much in the last book that the director didn't want to leave anything out and chose to make it two full length films.

2 reasons it was pushed back
1) The Dark Knight already filled Warner Brothers coffers for this year, they pushed it back to the summer to use HBP as their tentpole for next year so they make a good deal of money 2 years in a row thus helping their stocks etc.

edit: and the trailer looks cool, I'm just pissed at how much from the book is getting cut and since HBP is such a short fucking book thats pretty sad, also I hate the guy who directed OOTP as well as this and the next movies. :\

2) The kid who plays Harry Potter is currently on Broadway performing in a play in which he appears nude on stage, the last thing Warner Brothers wanted was cross promotion for both going on at once giving them bad publicity which might upset christians who are wary of Harry Potter as is.

Wait I thought he had sexual feelings for the horse, while nude? (it was all over the papers when it was announced and had pics of a horse and the kid).



And I forgot Dumbledore died, haha. The scene where Snape kills him would be THE most important scene of all time. Similar to how nearly Aerith dies*.... it'll have to be tragic, yet the killing must be epic. If it's just snape charging his lasers and shooting at dumbledore and then finally it ends in a "white flash" (or screen fades to white) i'd be pissed off.

Kind of, kind of not. Kinda hard to explain without giving away the entire damn play and the plot. I saw it on Broadway a few weeks back, and it's REALLY good.
