I haven't healed anything since Wrath on my Priest, in fact I have basically no fucking idea what half of my Holy spellbook even does. But we were waiting for 35 minutes for a healer for Drov the Ruiner (only doing it for the Pepe toy obviously) and I was like "fuck it, let me try but if people die sorry because I haven't done this shit in like 8 years." So I switched specs, had absolutely zero situational awareness at all to avoid any of the crap, somehow managed to not let anyone die, and laughed my ass off the whole time because I still don't even know what the fuck I was doing.

So glad everyone overgeared the fuck out of that enough to let me try that. I think I feel even more comfortable tanking at this point than healing. Wow. My 2009 WHM would be so ashamed of me.

Just finished mage orderhall campaign and with the two mythic relics I had my weapon ilv went up to 868 and my ilv stands at 833. Super happy.

Oh right, forgot this was a topic. >.> Got the artifact fishing pole today and already made a pretty good amount of progress in it and got all 3 gold traits lol. The water walking without needing to use the fishing raft is quite awesome and when going underwater, turning into a fish that swims really fast + underwater breathing is very nice as well. Kind of makes the Fish mount I got yesterday or the day before not matter anymore though, except for other characters I'm not leveling fishing on.

Most likely going to stop working on it for now though until they fix artifact knowledge for it, since it doesn't seem to work at all even though it says it should be in the artifact window.

Enjoying it so far, but the one thing that hasn't been as good as past expansions is zone questing. There are plenty of quests that the story and/or breadcrumbs don't take you to, and you'll miss out on rep if you're not going after every rare/treasure out there and stumble upon them.

Also, I just hate Stormhiem in general, as a zone, especially during the night phase, where it's hard to see the cliff paths, making it really easy to fall off. They also put Archeology in some of the worst places I've ever seen, and it seems that's the only zone that has them. I'm not sure if I missed something, from not playing Horde from day one, but Sylvanas acted like a total douche in the story, so either I'm missing some of her motivation, to do what she did, or they just didn't write it very well.

Stormheim takes me back to the greatness of WotLK, that music is just so tone setting. I haven't had any issues with missing quests AFAIK, and none seemed so far out that you'd miss them entirely. There's a couple of settlements off to the side that aren't part of the zone's main story that have some quests, maybe that's what you mean. I tend to explore at least enough to fill the map so I know what's around and that's gotten me everything.

I'm not caught up on Sylvanas' past from the end of WotLK to now, but I guess there's some bad blood between her and Greymane. Something about his son dying? Plus he blames her for Varian biting it. Didn't seem too hard to follow, though I don't know why she was in Helheim or what her plan was with Eylr. More Valkyries or something?

Do the quests in Silverpine Forest, those will give the background information on Sylvanas/Greymane.

And it wasn't explicitly stated, but the

lantern that Greymane smashed was the lantern to control Eylr, which would allow her to control the Valkyr and thus have an infinite supply of, well, life. Silverpine explains this as well. Her other Valkyr sacrificed themselves to rez her there so she doesn't have any more left. So if she dies, that's it this time.
