Burning a movie onto DVD with subtitles

Is there a way to do this? For example, if I were using a softsub file with an .avi or other video file type, is there a way to burn a watchable video DVD that will display the subtitles?

I can't speak for other burning programs because I don't really use any others besides ConvertXtoDVD, but ConvertXtoDVD automatically burns the subs onto the DVD if the sub file is in the same folder as the movie file.

Yup. I use ConvertXtoDVD also. It's a simple burning program! Even if the sub isn't in the same folder, you can locate where it is by extending the menu.
