There's a spell in your list called "Raise."
Learn to fucking use it.

Reraise ftw
perfect ban material
Yup - I use it... on people who aren't complete knob heads.
Guess it's not your lucky day, enjoy lying dead praying for a pixie.
I get 20 XP for 150 MP + obnoxiously long casting time. Not a worthwhile investment. Oh sure, I'll raise if I have nothing better to do, but I can get more XP by meleeing.
Somebody will raise your whiny ass eventually, just tough it out.
Genius, man. Pure fucking genius. I didn't see this coming; nope, not one bit.
And people wonder why the FFXI economy is declining every month... oh yea, someone will raise me "eventually" - but by then I guess it'll be the person who actually has merit in life, like a thing called common fucking courtesy.
Sure, you don't have to raise me, but it doesn't make you any less of a jackass for ignoring a dead body.
use rr scrolls or /whm <.< , beside dieing gives a nice boost to xp.
lolcampaign
Seriously, I rarely die and if I do die in campaign it's because I got RR up (and therefore, I know I am "safe" to die without the panic or worry about someone raising me).
Just fucking play smart or go in with a capable job and you won't die at all.
When a player goes to Campaign without some form of RR active, they should be humbly thankful to anybody who spends their time and MP raising them -- not presumptuously bitter when they don't. Because, like it or not, Campaign's typically a solo pastime (albeit one which is hidden under the guise of a group effort). No one is obligated to look after your unprepared arse.
So, be grateful when help is given, rather than butthurt when it isn't.
In summary:
There's a facet to your own actions called "responsibility".
Learn to fucking take it.
WHM's, RDM's, SCH's, lend me your raises.
I come to bury Beastmen, not to wait for raises.
The 12.95 that I pay lives on in you;
Your 12.95 is oft interrèd with my bones—
So let it be with Campaign.
NO NOT REALLY
holy hell who cares, I had 100k cq, 80k IS and 220k+ AN (can you buy rr scrolls with AN?) and of course WHM SJ, is it really so hard? campaign with a friend if you don't have this, or home point and start over
do you ask for raises as level 9 in konschtat? no. you homepoint and come back
and if you answered yes you need to transfer over to the Bleeding Hearts server who stand around and teleport each other for free and get 3k xp per hour
*lights the sath signal*
Sometimes you just cant help it though. I personally always bring my RDM/WHM with me when I'm campaigning because it makes it easier to tank things that are debuffed, etc. Also I use it to raise myself with and keep him reraised. However I've had plenty of times where I die horribly because someone trained Shadowfang on my ass then when I raise up I get smacked down from something else that happened to come close to me or from some AoE move.
And there you are, dead without reraise knowing that it'll take a shitload of time before someone raises you because "raising doesn't give enough exp". Guess I should stop being considerate of others aswell. Time to gear up the trusty old mkris and feed TP to whatever someone else is tanking till they die from TP spam.
I cast Raise as often as possible.
Of course, I'm also the asshole who drags Dirtyhanded Gochakzuk through Batallia Downs to the people resting in weakness just to MPK their asses with Stonega III and raise them again, so it all works out.
Good man.
Teach people how to avoid mobs. It's funny how people still seem to be unaware there's a huge train incoming and continue to fight whatever they are fighting. When I see people like you I laugh and run away (and raise you too to do more mayhem).
I dunno. I like it when it's all fucked up in campaign. Especially if it's more or less a full wipe. It's boring when NPCs dominate...
Once I died on the teleport NPC in Pash well before the end of a battle. After the battle no less than 5 mages with raise (RDM, SCH in some sort of AF) stood on my dead body and ported out.
You know, I can understand not raising in a battle, really. But don't be a dick after its done. You can always refill your MP in your mog house or /heal while you spam /cmap for the next one to go to.
You whores.
What always gets me is that since I have RR (and use it), I tend to die in unconventional spots... like behind walls and off away from NPC paths.
It sucks to be able to watch the crowd of lemmings herd towards the Arbiter after a battle and see them warp out one by one while my lifeless body rots behind a partition because I got nabbed by an AoE before my RR recast and/or MP was good.
On that note, wasn't it mentioned that after the last round of Campaign changes, the act of raising someone awards 100 points or something? instead of 20 like it was?
or am I crazy?
