Any good with only two players as opposed to what? Four players? Solo?
You can get probably around 90% of the prize bubbles in the entire game with two characters.
I just played ALMOST every level with my 6 year old niece.
Of course, she figured out that if she dies, she'll respawn PAST where she died after i get the checkpoint >.>
But it was still fun as hell doing skulldozer with her
Playing two player offline isn't bad at all. It's actually quite a bit of fun, depending. Admittedly though, online with four people is pretty awesome.
thx, i think i found another game to play with the wife.
My daughter and I play offline co-op quite a bit! She actually helped me (she is 5...) with nearly every section that required 2 players to get to. There was only one that she got too frustrated to do... and that one remains undone. I forget the level, but it is the one where one player steps on switches to cause blocks to drop... the 2nd player has to quickly jump from emitted block to emitted block.
Yeah, she about destroyed the PS3 and TV during that one. Stressful little heathen...
Yeah, that was the one I did with you that one time. It's in the temples world, first you have to build a staircase with the buttons, then two people have to run on different movement planes almost in synch to make the paths for each other. Luckily, it only took us two tries. D:
Recup and I spent about 45 minutes doing that one. God it sucked.
lol, Exo and I played pretty well together, mad skillz
Somehow I was able to pull that off with just using two controllers.
Oh FFFFF YOU Pyro. I can see the first part, where you have to go back and forth to get to the top... but once up there? I would destroy myself trying to do that with 2 controllers.
I had my wife try to help me with that part at the top... and i don't think she will ever help me with anything again. She tried it about 4 times, over the course of 45 mins and then she gave up. =P
The way it is set up, you can skip like half of that part up top by using the terrain.
That is true. I got about halfway through it with two controllers before I did it with Exo. But the jumping from platform to platform to make more platforms was just too much bullshit for me to do with two controllers.
damn right. ;p Honestly though, with mics it would be a lot easier... it's just that connecting a bluetooth to the PS3 used to take forever back when Warhawk just came out, that ever since then I never bothered to try again. I'm sure they fixed it, but still.. On the 360 I always have a mic ready to be connected for when I play online.
On another note, I still need to get the 'play with 3 people from your friend list' trophy >.>.. I never see 3 people playing LBP at the same time heh.
Same here. The one time I did have three people on all at once, one of them was Izzy.
I'm so bummed. Fallout 3 has taken all my time if I'm actually on the PS3. I need to get back on LBP and continue on my level. November 30 and the keypad for the controller comes out and will make typing on the PS3 so much easier which makes multiplayer easier (at least for me).
That is indeed it. Since I'm too cheap to buy a bluetooth keyboard and too lazy to hook up a keyboard via USB, that is my savior.
Hehe, I might just pick this up. I had been using a USB keyboard for both 360 and ps3, maybe it's time to upgrade now that both consoles have a wireless keyboard.
