Comes out the 16th, anyone picking it up? I'm undecided between getting this or The Last Remnant first, AC has always been goddamn addicting though so I'm leaning towards this

I want to play it, but im not buying a wii till monster hunter 3 comes out.
I love harvest moon, but I could never get in to AC, it seemed even MORE pointless than HM, which is hard.
I may pick this one up if I can find it super cheap though.
Definitely gonna pick this up when it comes out.
I shall catch all the fish in Awesometown. And then find a way to kill that damn Nook.
I liked both Animal crossings, I did cheat a lot though.
Picking it up on release day. And rofl at that picture.
I don't think I can put any more time into an Animal Crossing game. Gamecube and Wild World have so many hours clocked into them. I just felt like saying the Wii would have been twice the console it is now if the entire interface was an Animal Crossing game.
I've always loved Harvest Moon AND Animal Crossing. @.@; I need to buy this so I can play it on my friend's Wii. =P
Looks like I'll be getting a free copy of this, too bad I wont have a wii till late next year. Probably have to orrow the g/f's wii for a bit I guess ;x
fucking
Room for the town name is still asstastically short.
Is it the same damn game again? Already own the ones for GC & DS, and I'm not going to bother if it's the same bloody thing but with a couple little changes/additions.
(was the reason I stopped playing Harvest Moon after the N64 edition)
Pretty much just added Wii speak and a few new things, but yes pretty much same game. This is not directed towards you but it still puzzles me how people still havent figured out all nintendo does is rehash and remake every fucking nintendo title for each system.
WIth that said, it's still very enjoyable and they've added a few things to it.
Pretty much what Kyo said. It's an Animal Crossing game. There's some new stuff, but if you're expecting a total renovation of the game (and with Nintendo, why would you?), you'd be sorely disappointed. That said, I like it more than WW or the original, it's a good game.

Review.
I saw this coming, but I was really hoping it wouldn't be so. I'll probably end up playing it because of the fact that I didn't really play Wild World. I was annoyed at how similar Wild World was to the original so I lost interest. Thus, there might be enough difference between the original and City Folk to perhaps hold some interest. Sigh, this is still a big disappointment... Nintendo really needs to cut this rehashing/porting bullshit before they blow it.
Wait so people actually listen to IGN reviews?
IGN is one of the worst sites around, the worst if you ratio popularity:shittiness. Also they need to check their facts, there has been more than two previous animal crossings.
But I have my doubts about Animal Crossing City Folk being good. (or at least better)
IGN is complete shit when it comes to reviews, I don't personally know why anyone takes that site seriously anymore.
Is City Folk better than Wild World? Yes. Is it some huge Animal Crossing revolution? No. It's got a good deal more stuff to do and more interactions with townspeople, but like I said earlier, it isn't much more than an Animal Crossing game.
