BLM AF1 Quest Help

This is pretty lol, but is there a pre-requisite beyond getting the casting wand to open up the treasure coffers for the the 56 and 58 pieces for blm? The otherwiki makes it sound like you have to do the Darkspark quest to get the npc to allude to the fact that their are other armors hidden through out vanadiel etc etc, but I've done these AF quest for a few different jobs and have no memory of any pre reqs other than the AF weapon quest. THe only reason I'm unsure is becuase at level 52, I tried to get the treasure coffer for the Eldiem Necropolis and recieved money instead of the 58 piece.

Start that, then you can pick the coffers.

As posted above, you have to start the "AF2" quest before you can open coffers, this goes with any of the pre toau jobs.
