Man, I loved this show so much, it's a shame it got so damn kiddy when it came to the US though. The NA dubs wernt bad at all, it's just that kids destroied the image, same thing happened to Pokemon

See Bart Simpson, Goku was also voiced by a female in JP, though the voice actors have changed in certain things, im not sure if a male with a similar girlish voice was ever used, and im not sure who VAd him in this OVA.

Edit: Yeah, the original female VA voiced him in this OVA as well.
