Drunknmonkey you should probably get another stick of ram, 1GB is much too little to run it comfortably any more. I've had it suck up 1.5GB easy before, this is in silvermoon city on a bank alt with almost no addons loaded.

Still on topic of tankadin infos, how much should I consider gemming for hitR?
At first I though it'd be required to reach or get very close to the hit cap, and so I uses a few yellow slots to add mixed hitR/stam gems here and there.
But now I wonder, should I consider around 200 hitR as "acceptable" and keep gemming with Def/Stam on yellow?
Yeah… Going to go shopping to upgrade my p.c next weekend. Is there anything you advice I should get besides another stick of ram.
This p.c was given as a gift. However, I’ll most definitely going to go to best buy and purchase the maximum ram I can get so I can play the game in peace.
~Thanks Everyone~
Holy shit your guys WoW take up a lot of memory.
This is in Orgrimmar, with all my addons on, right in front of the AH.
I increased the size of my texture cache to 512mb which allows WoW to be a lot smoother when flying around, I guess I should note that.

setting up multiple cores to be used + how to set texture cache size
Ok so I'm leveling my mage (almost 20) with my sisters ele shaman.
When we duo'd warrior+ret, we just smashed shit into pieces, 1-2shotted everything, and pushed for highest dps through talents possible.
This won't work for double caster since its mana dependent, so how should I focus my talents?
Currently Frost, and I want to make sure if we are tearing through mobs if I'll have mana Issues. Should I focus on CC/slowing talents, or direct damage like I already am going?
I was thinking something on the lines of:
5 - imp frostbolt
3 - ice shards
2 - frostbite
1 - Icy veins
Here it gets confusing... for optimal leveling with another caster... Should I go back and grab Ice Floes for the icy veins cooldown? Or cap frostbite/permafrost first? Obviously after that its arctic reach... and maybe shatter - whatever to grab cold snap asap.
Also pretty obvious after that. Winters Chill & Cold as Ice > Ice block > Arctic winds etc
Should I bother picking up any of the "reduces mana cost" talents, or should I be ok without? Frost is fun, great for soloing, great for cc, great for a lot of things... but as duo'ing, direct damage might be better... is fire plausible or would it cost too much mana and add to downtime?
You have mana gems and a partner with mana spring totem, and free water if you really need it.
Aye with Mana Gems you should be fine between Evocations. Personally i'd level as Fire and switch to Arcane once you get Arcane Blast. You don't need CC if you're duoing.
Levelling as fire has the disadvantage of a long-cast time especially at lower levels, and a long streak of non-crit FBs = a stark reminder of how squishy mages are. Frost is still very much the way to go from 1-80, then arcane to gear up for heroics.
Arcane ftw starting at 64 man. Arcane blast is so fun, boom boom...if not dead already, boom, dead.
no comment on the high end, but I definitely agree with frost for low levels
and especially leveling with 2, spec for dmg, dmg, and more dmg
Yeah leveling as 2 is always damage, thats why I was wondering if fire becomes at all viable because of that. Typically it's, Frost, or you are stupid... but in this case it's like wellllll.
When I compare the first few talents, fire screams instant kills with the shaman casting too. Frost screams more... slow the target down and let the shaman kill it.
Just level frost and do massive AoE grinds. Fire has longer cast times, and generally speaking gear isn't well suited towards fire. Just stack stam/int/sp and level frost.
