I im still unsure what craft i want to take to 100. Which one offers better HQs when 100. Also can someone give a me a rough estimate on how much it will take to get to 100

The answer to this is yes
I'm going to make a broad generalization about "which skill to craft".
The more money it costs to level it, chance has it the easier it is to profit from it later.
A ton of people have cooking alchemy bone and woodworking, because they are fairly cheap to level in respect to the others.
For the opposite reason cloth smithing leather goldsmithing are more expensive to level but are more profitable because A) less people leveled it because its more expensive, so less people flooding the mark with those recipes B) read number A again.
Again it varies from server to server craft to craft but I'd say that's a semi accurate assumption on crafting.
But in the end ain't a lot of money to be made in synthing like it used to be.
Leather isn't that expensive. I think the most expensive stage was Panther Masks before Wyvern Skins were plentiful. Otherwise you can pretty much level making leather and mantles.
Smithing is the best money maker in my opinion. Partially because of the supply/demand for Imperial Wootz Ingots. I think each one is around 100k profit and its the same result for NQ and HQ so you don't need to rely on HQing to make money. Compare this to high level synths in other crafts where crafters lose money on most NQs that sell regularly (Dusk, Cursed Gear, etc). That's not to say Smithing doesn't have its NQ loss synths though.
Just something to consider based on observations. Also, consumables are your friend.
smithing
Inscribing.
Both. Which one is first is on you.
Neither, I have both leveled.
