I'm such a sucker... I'm on a bunch of animal rescue groups and someone posted this dog with pups in a kill shelter last week saying that someone should go save her. Well, nobody saved her and someone posted a few days later asking about her again, so I stepped up and put in an application and here she is. I don't think we'll keep her or the pups (she doesn't like cats), but we had to save their lives because they're just so darn cute. We'll adopt them out once they're old enough to leave mom, and I think that my husband's mom might be willing to keep the mother dog since their old dog died last fall.

Arya is just over a year old now and super big/fluffy. I have to trim the hair on her butt. She always attacks the scissors. She's still super needy and insists on laying on me if I'm home. She sleeps with her nose touching my face which drives me crazy sometimes. That separation anxiety shit never went away, but I guess I do spoil her.


It's impossible to do homework with her around because she starts attacking my highlighters. She's also hoarded a bunch of my highlighters under my bed along with some other shit she's stolen.
