Some professional pictures we had taken at the cat show we attended last week. Ruby seemed to enjoy it, but Oberon just sat there like a lump ^^;

Lap cat's rock, i'm a dog guy, but a good lap cat, ... good shit.
Thanks man, shit does suck
Received confirmation today from the vet/radiologist/oncologist that it is Osteosarcoma. Unfortunately I can't foot the $5K+ to go through with the amputation/chemo treatments. I've talked to her about pain managment for him, though she only gives him a couple more weeks before the pain gets unbearable, apparently it's a very aggressive dissease. Thing that sucks is my family is all in Portugal for the next few weeks, and I know how much they'd want to say their goodbyes.
I guess for now it'll just be day to day, when he tells me it's time, which I do believe he will, then I'll go from there. I was really hoping that he was going to be around for my 1st born which is due in August, Bruce has been my best bud for 6.5 years, I guess all I can really do now is make sure what little time he has left he enjoys, and he will be spoiled.
The looks on Oberon's face cracks me up, both gorgeous kitties!
The pics of Oberon.. "wtf are you doing human..." and "no seriously.. wtf are you doing..."
I am jealous of your cats, Machaa. You have some absolutely gorgeous cats.
I'll try not to photo spam, but I thought I'd share some cute pics of my little boy Mortichai and some of the other cats here.
Mortichai - My little boy. He's about 8 months old. I adopted him from the shelter I work at back at the beginning of October. I knew him since he was a tiny kitten when I was volunteering before I got hired. He would always want love and snuggling instead of running around playing with his siblings. He's spoiled and a total momma's boy.
Spoiler: show
Mirri - Mirri is about 5-6months old now. She came into the shelter mid-October as a tiny 2-3week old kitten with both of her eyes sealed shut with scabby pus. We feared that both her eyes had ruptured from conjunctivitis. To our surprise, once we removed them... she had bright blue eyes that were perfectly fine. I opted to foster her, but after my mom and I bottle fed her for a month... we couldn't give her back.
Spoiler: show
Shya - Think I posted pics of her as a kitten when we first found her on the roadside/brought her home. She's I think 2/3 years old now.
Spoiler: show
I can't wait to move in with my boyfriend later this year. Only Mortichai will be coming with me, but I look forward to being able to finally get a dog and lots of other random pets. My biggest thing is getting a husky or wolf dog.
If you're anywhere near Boston, MSPCA took in 40 purebred cats from a breeder who was being foreclosed on. Might be able to get some big cats like mine for a song ^^

I expect to have babies within the next month from Oberon and Titania (my older girl, there's pictures of her further back in the thread), but since I'm located in Korea I doubt many of you would be likely candidates for homes for them. I'll be sure to post lots of pictures of them though.
Bonus pic of Ruby and Eris; I was packing winter clothes in a suitcase and they were "helping":
Love "helpful" pets haha
If only...
We already have 10 cats total as I still live at home. We only had 6 when I started working at the Humane Society, lol. Only one of them here is technically mine and I'll be taking along on the move from PA to NE to move in with my boyfriend. I'd love a Maine Coon, but for now I'll have to just stick with my little Morti. We do have a cat with Maine Coon in her, but she doesn't have the size at all, just the fluff. My Mortichai is almost as big as her and she's like.. 4 years old and Morti is 8 months.
As for the 40 cats in Boston, reminds me of the 24 cats and 3 dogs we took in a few months ago that were all rescued from a homeless Veteran's car. All were Persian, Siamese, and/or Munchkin. Man did people go absolutely NUTS for them. First day a few went up for a adoption we had people lined up outside the door at 8 in the morning and we only open at 10. All three were "claimed" within seconds of the doors opening and there was even arguing over them. We just adopted the last one out a week ago. It was a Persian kitten. Her adoption fee was 200$ and was donated to the VA hospital the woman was at.
For now I'll just snuggle the beautiful cats we get in at work and be sad/happy when they get adopted. I've adopted out several that I wanted, but had to let them go. I love my job, and hate it.. lol.
only had 6.
Making her debut. I introduce Sammie, the stunted growth, deaf, blind in one eye, wobbly cat.
and my Aussie, Bowser.
I wanted to name the cat Michelle J Fox, but the roomie found it offensive.
The next time your children tell you they heard monsters under the bed...you should listen....
For Scale:
Charlie: he's really dopey and easy going, but can get spooked easily.
Charlie as a kitten
Zoe: She's a bit small, like 5lbs at 3 y/o. Loves to run around and yowl at the walls early in the morning and plays fetch. Scared of bananas.

Bonus! I met Lil Bub last year.
Far too many cats on this page. Time to get some awesome dog shots.
With her rawhide bone:
About to go for a ride in the truck:
Trying to force her way onto the recliner with me:
And just random d'awwwwww:
Spoiler: show
Why do kitties have to love grass so much?
Titania and Oberon's first baby. Somehow only one in the litter... but this is her first litter so having only one is probably easier for her.
Aww Can't wait to see more pics as it grows up!
Guinness on left and Corona on right hand side. They are about 6 months apart in age.
