    Was there ever any thought to communicate glitches and bugs that have been discovered, and announcing them to the community along with a warning that taking advantage of these game mechanics could result in a ban? You know, rather than keep knowledge of issues a secret, and banning players months-if not years- after the issue has been corrected?

    Question 1
    Einherjar has been the subject of many changes but overall it does not seem that the tier I, II, III chambers have received an increase in drop rates. Very rarely you see Khroma Ore, Imp. Wootz Ingots, or Abjurations. Many players have done well over 50 runs to see only 1-2 Abjurations that usually are useless. What is the drop rate in these chambers and are there any plans to raise the drop rates for these very desirable items?

    Question 2
    You have told us that you are planning on raising the drop rates for Salvage, hopefully in the next update. Given that there will be more people trying to upgrade this gear the price of upgrade materials will most likely go up as well. Do you plan to possibly raise the drop rates of the upgrade materials or possibly even add more ways to obtain them?

    Question 3
    Absolute Virtue and Pandemonium Warden have both been beaten but seem to have specific tricks to make them less dangerous. These tricks are almost impossible to figure out because the monsters can kill the players so fast that is it very hard to test strategies. Why haven't you ever added solutions after a set period of time to these puzzles especially when most players have given up and let monsters like Absolute Virtue despawn? Do you know that no one is fighting Absolute Virtue at all and only a handle of players are even attempting to fight Pandemonium Warden?

    1. Now that some people have managed to finish some mythic weapons, the playerbase is very dissapointed with the effects and trigger for the different aftermath levels. From the description given, people were expecting all 3 effects at the same time, with strength varying from 100 200 300 tp.
    Mythic weapons appear to be inferior to Relic weapons in almost every way and do not warrant the effort required to get them. Are there an plans to look into and adjust this?

    2. It has come to light that around the time you monitored and re-adjusted the amount of alexandrite required to obtain a Mythic Weapon, most veteran groups were actually receiving triple the amount from duping which would indicate that the the 30000 you decided on is too high. Most players agree that based on the true power of these weapons and their obvious inferiority to relic weapons, the figure should be closer to the region of 10000. Are there any plans to re-evaluate the amount required in light of recent developments?

    Question 1:

    Seeing that every relic weapons now has a mythic weapon skill link to them other than Greatsword. Do you have any plan to release a new Greatsword weapon skill in the future for those who use the weapon exclusively for their particular jobs? It seems unfair to those who ungraded Ragnarok to not have anything new to play around with, and Greatsword is generally a very popular weapon among players.

    Question 2:

    Any plan to adjust the overall base damage of Greatsword? Comparing to other 2 hand weapons such as Polearm, the delay for the average Greatsword are similar to that of the Polearm, but the base damage are alot lower. Perhaps an adjustment similar to the dagger adjustment a few years ago? (adding a fix amount of base damage to all GS, perhaps 5)

    Question 3:

    Any plan to increase the duration of Last Resort? It seems to be too short compare to alot of the other jobs' signature abilities. Bringing it to 1 minute duration and pair that with Souleater, Bloodweapon, and Desperate Blows should encourage the job to use its A+ weapon for fast damage instead of the like of K.club, M.Kris, Ridill etc.

    We know that gear that increases Magic Attack Bonus affects a Corsair's Quick Draw ability, but does gear that increases magical accuracy have any effect on Quick Draw?

    Question 2
    Do elemental grips, such as the Wind Grip, provide any enhancement to a Corsair's Quick Draw?

    Other than Mijin Gakure and the merit ability sange, Ninja has no job abilities. Was there a reason for not giving ninja any abilities? Were there ever any ideas for ninja abilities that didn't make it through?(and why)

    Question 2:
    Mijin Gakure seems only useful for laughs and warp. Have there been any plan to modify it? Perhaps make it give a reraise effect, remove weakness period, or make it hit multiple enemies?

    Question 3:
    The mini game "Beetle Crab Ghost" in the First Lieutenant promotion is really fun. Any plans to add similar content in the future? Would you consider allowing players to play this game with each other?

    Question 4:
    Holy Waters only have a very small chance of removing curse when a player is hit with a monster ability like Tauri's Rays. Is this an inside joke about exorcism?

    Is it possible to/could you please introduce a text command that "calls"/executes another macro and in so-doing effectively increase the number of commands someone can fit in one macro button press? Avoiding infinite loops in this scenario is not difficult.

    Question 2
    Is it possible to/could you please balance the TP given to a mob when struck in such a way that fast hitting attackers (daggers and h2h) don't 'feed' monsters more TP per unit of time than the 'big hitters' (g.axe/scythe/g.kat).

    Can you please color-code text as it is being typed? For example, if the player is typing in linkshell chatmode, all of the text being typed should be green. This would help prevent accidentally sending a message to the wrong chatmode.

    There are some ???s in Phomiuna Aqueducts that serve no purpose. Will they ever be used?

    Question 3

    Players would like to see more varied status icons. Is this a possibility?

    Question 1: The Dynamis H2h currently costs Less then the Mythic H2h on the Alexandrite portion Alone. Byne Bills are 5k, T shells are 8k, and O peices are 8k putting the relic at about 115mil, but you get a 15mil return in the form of 3000 Bynes back.
    The Alexdrite on my server rose to 4k, Putting that at 120mil for a mythic AND you get no currency back after completing he Quest.
    Mind you, this is the price to complete the entire Dynamis quests with only 2 other little items required the fragment and the attestation, of which 1 of them is a 100% drop.
    If alexandrite was the only portion of the mythic weapon quest, I would not complain.
    But when you need
    -100 assaults ( 100 days minimum)
    -100 Nyzul Isle assaults (which cannot be done at the same time as regular assaults is 20 days minimum)
    - 150,000 Nyzul tokens (about 155 days minimum)
    -100,000 Ampoules (about 55 Weeks minimum)
    - Alexandrite (arrapago remnants only, about 99 alexandrite per day, 7 days a week would be 300 days minimum)
    To be realistic, You will not win these perfectly and meet the minimum day requirement, you can do assaults and salvage at the same time, however, because the Costs of the Salvage permit is 1500, you would normally need at least 2 assaults if you want to enter a Salvage 7 days a week AND do your assault book logs.
    It does not take 55 weeks 100 days and 150 days to get an attestation which is 100% and a fragment which is about 30%.
    It is also harder to obtain THREE ZNM trophys at 10% drop rate each, then it is to obtain ONE fragment in dynamis.
    If the requirements to obtain a mythic weapon are 4 times harder on the non-currency parts, then you should make the mythic 4x easier then the dynamis currency part.
    I think the Resonable amount should be 10,000 alexandrite to make up for all the other requirements. I also think even with the Alexandrite lowered to 10k, These weapons will still maintain their extremely high rarity, which is what SE wants.
    You should maybe consider making the Linen pouch 100% drop off Salvage Chariot bosses, and cotton pouches to drop off Nyzul isle bosses if you did not want to chance the 30k requirement, these could be alternatives to balance it out. This would still make it more difficult then dynamis relic with 30k requirement.
    Some people wanted an alternative to dynamis relics. Some people wanted dynamis to be the weapon you obtain by somehow getting hordes of gil, some of which are usually illegal means.
    And others wanted Mythic weapons, where you would need no gil at all, and just a series of long quests. If making the alexandrite requirement of 10k is too much to ask, Perhaps, Make them rare/exclusive. So that no gil is involved in these alternative to relic weapons. Please lower the droprate of the alexandrite requirement of the mythic quests, I own a dynamis relic and the requirements are much easier then this.

    Question 2: 18 people is the maximum amount of people you can have in an Alliance without calling for help on a non-battlefield area while battling a monster.
    PW and AV continue to stomp over people and they do not seem to be able to be defeated with 18 players, nor do they seem to be able to do so within a 2hour time limit.
    I respect SE and everything you do to make this game better, but the highly edited video of AV, some are questioning whether you had access to unlimited Special 2 hour abilities. I understand the Video was supposely over 10 hours long which would make it very difficult to download all of that. However, With the battle post-update, now taking at least 1 hour to 1 hr 30 mins to complete, Maybe we can see a 1 hour FULL video of SE taking down AV, so we can see if he is indeed killable.

    Question 3: Maybe people do not like testing theories of gimmick monsters when the requirements to spawn these monsters are time consuming enough. If you make another gimmick NM for WOTG, could you perhaps make a long series of Quests that each give their own hint on how to figure out the monsters gimmick. Also, if you plan on making this gimmick monster, could it be a NM that roams on land? That way everone anyone can test out the NM at any given day and die to it for months but it won't be wasting anyones hard earned pop sets. People can actually test theories anytime they want on the mob with as many people from their server community as they want, and this could actually become a popular monster. Unlike AV and PW, which are pop sets which you would normally do with your LS only and would only attempt a few times before giving up due to the spawn requirements.

    A large percentage of PC users use additional tools to make the game more enjoyable; these tools include visual enhancements (icons/textures/models), ability to equip every gear slot, display additional information (such as TP and MP of party/alliance). These independent software developers have therefore demonstrated the capability to improve the interface for FFXI. What is the status on SE making these enhancements official?

    Question 2
    What is the status on the various 'endgame' adjustments players have asked for for 3+ years? Examples include: lowered ??? repop times, Kirin porter, Ground Kings, NMs that have no reason to be fought (hydra, jorgy, etc), <and more but others could fill out>

    Question 3
    After having saved the Empire, becoming a Captain, and even becoming a friend of the Empress herself. Who do I need to talk to in order to make Salvage a Empire sanctioned event so I can use my assault tags on it directly? (or at least use Nyzul tokens)

    After asking Sharin-Garin for a Runic portal permit, he notices i am a Captain and it is therefore free of charge. He then continues to ask if i am sure I want a permit. Why is he asking me again for something I already asked for? (I understand for non-captains its to confirm the spending of ISP but seems unnecessary/annoying for the Captain dialog)

    It seems that campaign has taken off as a great way to gain xp for higher level players, for lower level players the addition of FoV has helped gain experiance faster. for middle level players there still seems to be no viable option. Example: if you are level 50-65 you are still too weak to do any damage to the beastman forces in Campaign, the only exception is with Fortifications depending on server/home country that option is also a problem due to the controll shifting every other week. is there any chance to scale the damge you deal/or take with the level you are in normal campaign battles.

    Question 2
    With the introduction of Mythic weapons and the requirements, the abilty to do said assault repeats/clears plus the nyzul isle coins needed also the Assault points needed to enter Salvage, all seems like an overwhelming task to complete. Are there any plans in the works to separate these two orders so that you may gain assault points and clears as well as enter Nyzul Isle to gain coins/climb/drops.

    1. Conflict/Ballista has been quite "dead" over a large number of FFXI servers and it just seems to be decaying even more over time. Are there any plans for increasing Confict/Ballista's popularity through item reward as an incentive for participation?

    Moblin Maze Mongers was introduced last patch along with some interesting pieces of equipment that can drop from it. However, at the moment drop rates for this equipment seem to be very low with some people never getting a drop in 50 kills of the boss. It has been theorized that making a monster harder can improve the drop rate but much of the community is still uncertain about this. Is this true and if so are there any ways to determine what runes are better for improving equipment drop rate? If not can you give us any hints at other methods to improve the drop rate on equipment.

    The Xbox360 version of FFXI has many problems including poor loading of models, lockups in besieged, etc. Are there any plans to fix these issues that have been in the game since the release?

    Question 2
    Summoner damage is very random. An un-merited SMN with basic gear can do as much damage as a fully meritted SMN with full af2, etc. Compared to 2handed weapons and BLMs, it is even worse. Predator Claws(164 MP cost) almost never does as much damage as a good BLMs Thunder IV(171 MP) and will never do as much as a SAM gekko with Hagun.

    It is understood that SMN damage is hate-free, which is unlike other jobs. However, it is still a job that attacks once every 45 seconds-1 minute(dependant on gear).

    As such, are there plans to either decrease the Blood Pact timer, increase the damage vs mp cost of a blood pact, make merits+gear that boost damage more noticeable or otherwise increase the damage output of the job?


    Question 3
    How does designing end game content work? For example, when creating an HNM, is it a brainstorming thing then implemented? Many events added have either terrible droprates(see Salvage) or the difficulty becomes an annoyance instead of a challenge(se AV, PW). How much playtesting goes into these things before the are implemented and after they are implemented?

    is there any way possible you can change all gear that "Enhance's XXX %" and just give us the % instead. its rather annoying having to guess and use 3rd pt tools to figure at an estimated #% of what brutal earring, homam body and salvage sets give.

    so many people have been banned due to duping, while people have been botting for years and remain on top with no punishment. how come there hasnt been any changes made in this area? has 3rd pt tools become > SE devolpment team in this area? if so y not change the whole system

    assuming "walk of echo's" is a WotG endgame area, any clues on what type of endgame it will be?
