The game is pretty simple -- you have a salary cap of $50, and with this $50, you draft two quarterbacks, two running backs, two wide receivers, a tight end, a kicker and a defense. Players more likely to score big points cost more (i.e. Peyton Manning costs $7.1, Matt Leinart $4.5). Make the best team you can with $50, add up your score.
You can pick a new lineup both after this week, and after next, but you can not change your lineup after the conference championship games. So, basically, there's three weeks of picking players, and the third week's roster will last for two weeks. Point values will change after each week, but if you keep players on your team from one week to the next, you can retain the salary you initially picked them up for.
We did this last year, and Tyr won. But don't be stupid and do what I did and pick players with a bye week in week one, thinking you will save money on them come Super Bowl time, as you'll be missing far too many points to make up.
