Yep, it was bad but great to watch in a way. If you turn off your brain and enjoy the ride Crank is a good movie. Although the premise for the second one is very sketchy...

agree 100%. it's a movie to laugh at with friends. looks like crank 2 is taking it further in the same direction, which is why im going to see this. fuck yeah shootem ups.

Jason Statham... and shit being wrecked for basically an hour and a half straight. Not to mention a decent soundtrack, and great cinematography? Crank was an awesome movie, in my opinion. If you're looking for deep story and great acting, yea probably not your cup of tea.

I don't expect Crank 2 to be as good overall... but equally as ridiculous and entertaining.

The first one was ok for a brainless popcorn-action flick, although Shoot 'Em Up blows it out of the water. That being said, Idk about this one. Seems they're trying way too hard to make it over the top.

Shoot 'em up was awesome. I thought it would suck at first, but it turned out to be one of the best movie of the genre. The car crash gun fight was the best. That scene made me go "fuck yeah" irl.
