Dual box help plz

Hi, I'm pretty new to dual boxing and i was wondering why in the hell i lag SO much when i have to chars logged in.
My PC ain't so bad spec is: 2.13 GHz dual core, 2GM of RAM running XP service pack 2 and using an Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS graphics card.
I use windower and the priority plug in, but i seem to run like 8 FPS, lol. Can anyone help me out plz?

Edit: I usually run around 28~29.2 FPS when i have 1 account logged in.

Lower your resolution?

Make sure that the Priority plugin is loaded on both instances of FFXI. The best way to do this is to open up your init.txt file in the scripts folder. Put load priority there like other plugins. Restart all instances of FFXI.

You wouldn't happen to be running the second account on a second monitor would you?

Running 2 clients on a single computer will inevitably stress your PC. Lower resolution and/or other settings to improve frame rate.

To expand on my earlier reply: I normally run FFXI with a background res of 2720/1530, overlay of 1360/765. Two processes running at that resolution are terribly slow, so any further processes I run at 680x382.
