CPU Intel e7200 problems with FFXI, please help

Hi, i recently had to change my cpu (was an AMD 4200+ dual core) to a Intel 2 duo core e7200 that runs stuff like oblivion better but unfortunately, ive notice a fps drop in FFXI.

Is there a graphics driver to fix this in FFXI from intel or Nvidia? Thank you for your attention.

PS. Since you obviously know about Intel and Nvidia, why didnt you go to their site to look for the newest drivers? Just grab the newest drivers, uninstall the old ones, and give it a shot.

My graphic card is the same one, geforece 8600GT, the "only" thing i changed was the processor+motherboard, i installed all newer drivers and others games run better and more stable fps wise, like oblivion, fallout 3... i have to turn all effects off in whitegate and other areas to avoid having 12 fps.

Try out different versions of the drivers.
For FFXI, sometimes the best drivers are not the newest ones.

Yea i read somewhere there was a specific driver for nvidia-ffxi but i cant remember the link or the version

175.16 I think is the specific version for FFXI. Google nvidia driver+ffxi and it should take you to the download page.
