I mean, I'm definitely going to watch this. But how the hell is this a sequel to Devil's Rejects?
Showing my age here, but Banana Splits is a show I grew up watching. This is definitely not the same thing.

Warner Bros. Animation is rebooting the Flintstones. The series will target an adult audience.
With Family Guy, American Dad, the Simpsons, and Bob's Burgers what possible niche is left for the Flintstones to fill.

Out of those four, I only watch Bob's Burgers at this point.
As far as other animated series, I can only think of Venture Bros. and Archer that I watch.
EDIT: meaning, if this new Flintstones is any good I may watch it. Venture Bros. seasons are so far apart and Archer has been iffy.

WB to Allow AI to Decide what Films get Green Lithttps://www.hollywoodreporter.com/ne...system-1268036“The system can calculate in seconds what used to take days to assess by a human when it comes to general film package evaluation or a star’s worth,” says Queisser.
Adds Tonis Kiis, senior vp distribution: “We make tough decisions every day that affect what — and how — we produce and deliver films to theaters around the world, and the more precise our data is, the better we will be able to engage our audiences.”
“Artificial intelligence sounds scary. But right now, an AI cannot make any creative decisions,” says Queisser. “What it is good at is crunching numbers and breaking down huge data sets and showing patterns that would not be visible to humans. But for creative decision-making, you still need experience and gut instinct.”
There was a cartoon episode about this. I can’t remember which show though lol.
Awesome-O.

Quentin Tarantino chimes in on the current state of the film industry.
Because of what you said, a lot of original movie comment came out and demanded to be seen, and demanded to be seen at the theaters. That ended up becoming a really, really strong year. I’m really proud to be nominated with the other films that just got nominated. I think when you sum up the year, it’s cinema that doesn’t fall into that blockbuster IP proof status, made its last stand this year. If it hadn’t done it this year, it might have been the last stand for movies like that. This is a really groovy year. To combat something like Avengers: Endgame, which for the month before it came out and the month after, you couldn’t talk about anything else. They tried to do that with this last Star Wars and I don’t think it quite worked, but you couldn’t get on United Airlines without running into all the tie-ins, and even the safety commercial had a Star Wars scene.

Rian Johnson reveals that Apple requires any company using their image only show their products "in the best light, in a manner or context that reflects favorably." This is why you'll never see a villain using an iPhone or Mac. One example used was the show "24" where all the good guys used Macs and all of the baddies used PC's.

Trolls: World Tour made $50M on it's opening weekend via Video-on-Demand. The price to watch was $20.
I'd love to have the option to watch a new theatrical release at home for $20.
I love seeing movies in theaters but my wife hates going- anxiety reasons- so the amount of movies I see in theaters (those that she also wants to see) has gone down dramatically. And now that I have a newborn, opportunity is even less. Though that's less of a problem right now with the whole covid thing pushing everything back. Still, it'll probably just go back to business as usual after.
