Blizz gave me 7 days free play time not played in ages but the server most of my characters are on is dead, makes me so sad.
they swept the problem of dead servers under the carpet with that Cross realm zoning I've noticed
and it seams they'd rather you pay them more money to move server than for them to merge servers

^ I also refuse to pay for those blatantly overpriced services. To xfer to another realm and swap faction is roughly the same price of an entirely new game on release. Not worth it.

I quit raiding due to my new job, so now I only really log in to chat with friends and socialize. Still feels like the monthly subscription, albeit small, is slowing burning a hole in my pocket also. I'm already quite bored of this patch. Same shit, different patch. Here's your new raid, with your new shiny stat stick and armours. Lets not forget our innovative new dailies and world bosses that will likely one shot you multiple times during the encounter. Also the fuck is up with the amount of griefers in warcraft right now? Seems we have this childish "troll" generation who think it's cool to fuck up someone elses day just because they can.

The griefers have always been there, just if you've been on a low pop server you haven't noticed it. I'm on KJ and it's always had a healthy population - and it has always had a fair amount of trolls and griefers. Just something I've grown used to.

My group of 5 friends has been trying to find a new guild with no luck. Finding a guild with raid times and a decent server that makes everyone happy is pretty difficult. Honestly while the faction change is expensive and like buying a new game, it almost is like playing a new game. Logging on a new faction after years on one is pretty game-changing and motivating. I wish it were cheaper, since one of the 5 of us probably can't afford it and it would make our finding a guild easier, but honestly I'd prefer changing factions this time around just for the good it could bring.

Blacksmithing is ugh to level.

They added the new skill up things but fuck that, 100 Ghost Iron for 5 skill levels is totally not worth it.

You have a choice, either farm spirits of harmony or burn your ghost iron. True of both blacksmithing and engineering. 100 ghost iron is pretty cheap compared to the other recipies that go green at 595.

5 people in lfr pulling under 45k dps on tortos. blows my fucking mind. im top of the charts with 146k and ZERO gear from normal mode. c'mon people its not hard.

They're afking. Auto attacking etc. Pressing just enough buttons to not get kicked but to still get loot while watching tv or doing homework.

I do it all the time in LFR.

^ looks almost as bad as my server (moon guard). I know some groups have killed him here and there but honestly not even worth bothering until we can do it xrealm. Not going to go wipe 10 times with a shit group for a 15% chance at some kind of loot.

I carefully execute as optimal a path as possible through Troves of the Treasure King, avoid every single trap, carefully open gold boxes in front of the slam traps, run around floor tiles, pull the 'boss' into a safe corner and blow cooldowns to kill it quickly. Result: 5 trove keys, a rep token and about 300 gold + the documents.

My guildmate derps around in the very first room only for 5 minutes. His result: 5 trove keys, a rep token and about 300 gold + the documents.

Stupid design is stupid.

Sometimes I miss not having LFR because back then you could hear the shouts and decide if it's a group you want to join.

Hubby's time is severely limited atm, he's not going to get another day off in like a month. Last night though he was home by 8 (instead of his normal 10:30) and we figured we had enough time for a raid, and wanted to try the new wing. Came in, group had already downed the first boss. That's fine, that's happened before, figured we'd kill the next two then queue up again to kill the first one. Kill the last two, queue up, get in a raid...they already killed the first boss. So we leave, get the 30 minute debuff, do some pvp in that time. Try again, get a pop...group is on the last boss....ffffffuuuu

I wish the lfr system was intelligent and if it sees everyone in your group queuing has killed certain bosses, it puts you into a raid with a boss you haven't killed yet.

someone said you get priority in new raids if youve done one with already dead bosses to compensate. I queued and got into a group already on the last boss, requeued right after it was done and got into a new one after 1-2min, was extremely fast
