Reactiving Content IDs

in December of 08 I deactivated 2 character Content IDs, now almost 3 months later I want to reactivate them, its March 24th and I am very worried that the characters may be deleted on April 1st and I will have trouble getting them back with all their items/jobs etc. I don't want to be charged the $12.95 for just 7 or 6 days remaining in march.

my question is: can I reactivate in March and somehow not be charged the $12.95 the 6 days? if no, would my characters be deleted on April 1st? because I'll just take the extra hit on crash if I'd risk doing so.

They keep character data 6~12 months afaik.

They keep accounts for a minimum of 6months, however the case is usually 1-2+years from what I've heard. Three Months is going to be safe though.

As the others said, SE isn't very delete happy, you got a year at least.

Otherwise, if you reactivate in March, even if it's only for one hour, you'll be charged for 12.95 for all of March. No prorating on reactivation. And be aware of one thing, registration server maintenance starts a few hours into April, they'll charge for March if you reactivate before that.

If you're transferring from free trial, you have 90 days to reactivate.

If you're reactivating an account that has previously been paid for, you have 2+ years to reactivate.

i went away for almost a year... left on jan 20th.. didnt get charge for the month of JAN... cameback around Nov.. got charged for JAN + NOV at the end of NOV...

Had a char banned in 2005. Still can't make a new char named after my char that got banned. That was 4 years ago this june. SE bullshits about deleting chars after certain amounts of time

me and my friend left game around 3-4 years. All our characters were still there and we both evn had gold from auctions in our mailboxes when we got back. Wouldn't worry about it.

Funny cause I called yesterday to change POL password and they wanted:

POL Registration Code
Name
Address
DOB
First 4 & Last 4 digits of Credit Card

for account verification before they would do anything for me.

I think he meant to change it if you have current one. When reactivating my account I explained that I had thrown away my disks and book years ago. They let me reactivated without the reg code but I still had to dig around on paypal for last 4 digits of my cc and I used the wiki page for the standard starting number of cc by company and type to figure out my first 4 digits.

I guess the word 'original' is what throws it off. The account I'm trying to make the change on has been inactive for a year.
