I was under the impression this was a reimagining and the Farrelly brothers have been working on this for a long ass time, I'm hopeful lol and anyone who thinks Benecio can't do comedy obviously hasn't seen Snatch

Jesus, just make a slap stick comedy and call it something else. People didn't love the Stooges as a brand or a franchise, they loved Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard.

Both Hollywood and Mainstream Music have both run completely out of ideas. Why else do you think they can redo good 80s songs like "Like a Record" and get away with Rhianna singing shit like "Dragonstei Din Vei" and sell albums?

The originality has long since left our country. Anyone who innovates doesn't sell because it would either cost too much to produce them or they're just not "in".

I think one of the original concepts in the early 90's was to have Phil Hartman as Moe, Jon Lovitz as Larry, and Chris Farley as Curly.

I think that's the only casting that would have ever worked, they were all built for the roles.
