That Dawn of War price can't be real though, so if you're on the fence get it before they figure it out.

Fuck yeah, I was waiting for DoW to go down again
I almost jumped on it, then I realized I have no interest in the Warhammer Universe, and barely even play SC2 anymore. lol
Picked up Just Cause 2 earlier when it was on sale the first time and am in love with it. Game is so huge on a massive scale, amazingly beautiful, and fun as hell. Best game i've picked up during the sale, without a doubt.
Made it out of the summer sale only $26 lighter. And considering everything I got was 50-75% off, pretty happy with the value.
This sale's damage.
$140 for 30-ish games (more if you count the king's bounty games separately). Not too shabby. Now I guess I have to start playing some of these games lol.
Magicka is an awesome game to co-op with some buddies in. There were a few bugs we encountered (some substantial, others not so much), but nothing that wasn't fixed by backing out and coming back in. Sucked when you were near the end of a chapter and it happened, but it wasn't anything deal breaking imo.
I don't know why i even bother buying all these things.
And they fixed DoW II: Retribution's price. better luck next time, chaps.
Anyone who picked up Sanctum on the first day played it and have any thoughts on it? A tower defense FPS does intrigue me.
Also, Penny Arcade bundle is on sale for $1.80. $2 is hardly something to get upset if it sucked, but worth getting?
There is a demo for Sanctum btw. I'm on the ropes for the Penny Arcade games too.
I got the PS3 version when it was on sale.
It's not a bad game, and if you like PA's style of humor, it's even better.
They fixed the price for DoW: Ret back to 50%
:edit:
Yeah didn't see earlier post. Did they fix the crashing problems in Fallout: New Vegas when it was released?
Isn't the PA game pretty much unfinished? They released two episodes and the third is just being released in script-form by Tycho? Seems like I'd feel gypped playing a game with no actual ending.
Yes, while the games have good reviews, the sales on the 2nd episode weren't enough. Combined with the devs being busy on/with Deathspank, they just cba to do the 3rd.
I don't despise reading, hell, I frequently do it for fun, so the 3rd chapter isn't a dealbreaker to me.
Fuck, missed the 75% off on DoW. Would have definitely grabbed it at that price.
Have Super Meat Boy on my brobox, Amnesia, Trine, and Torchlight. Any other must have indies I should pick up during this sale while most are sub $5?
Not much on my end this sale around, just mostly stuff I didn't have the budget to grab last Xmas due to all the other shit gotten.
Still, 7 games for $20 (+DLC and freebie knicknacks from ticket hunting) isn't shabby at all.

Depends what your tastes are. The indies on my list are all pretty highly regarded, but of pretty varied genres. VVVVVV is another high-challenge old school (older school than SMB) platformer. Nimbus is an elegant 'paper airplane' type flying/racing game that's very very chill in its presentation, but it too has a lot of challenge for gamers who don't want to be babied. Atom Zombie Smasher is more fun than I was expecting but I don't see myself 100% the game once I've beaten all the stages. It doesn't play like anything I've seen before, but so I'll just leave it as 'action/puzzle with tower defense elements.'
Of my indie purchases Frozen Synapse probably has the largest active community. You just have to go watch some matches on youtube then realize it's all planned ahead of time in what is the most original tactical shooting game to come along in a while. One purchase is two licenses too, so if you have a friend (and it is best that way) only one of you needs to spend the money.
Ehh, the whole thing, for shits & giggles.
