Funny thing is..considering it's a trailer for additional story, it isn't there to make you want to play FFXI in general, that's what the FFXI trailer was for in late 2002 and early 2003. Many people bought the expansion before the trailer came out, so regardless if it's a bad trailer or not I'm pretty sure those who want to play it already bought it/still going to buy it..look at the Mass Effect 2 trailer, it doesn't really show much of anything.

I completely agree with you. That being said, the trailer was kinda sad. That also being said, I didn't expect a trailer, nor did I need one.
