That's all? So when does PLD get flash II then?
gdi SE.... thought i had something to look forward to for rdm....
nope back to being jerks, thank you
It's not like RDM really needs anything new magically.
I guess it kinda makes sense, they want rdms to have some melee ability so they improved it a bit. Anyone meleeing in a party is still gonna get slapped across the face though.
RDM update is decent, ppl just need to know how to put them to good use. It's obvious SE want RDM to become the ultimate debuff job. Death Blossom grants magic evasion down effect and can be used to open both light and darkskillchain. Composure just give RDM the acc boost they need to land the WS and to build TP when there is no surrounding weak mob to build TP on.
Enaero II > Death Blossom > darkskill chain > MB slow/elegy.
If magical BPs get a huge boost in damage output it can have huge impact on the job since they are ranged attack and can't be blocked by shadows.
Update also make RDM and SMN mythic weapon more appealing.
Wow ... disappointing. What a letdown after all the exciting WHM stuff.
this biggest joke for RDM update WHY in gods name is Composure self if they made it whole party effect or give melee the en2 then it would have been epic win but this is SE for you
The difference is that RDMs wanted something good, not something that is going to render RDM/NIN worthless.
It will have to be about 60 damage a swing to make up for the fact that multi-hit weapons and dual wielding are now no longer have en-spell damage for RDMs. But that's OK, Scholar can still add en-spell damage that goes with every hit for everyone else's multi-hit weapons. Woo hoo!
It's worse than nothing, depending on how terrible they decide to make the recast penalty, Utsusemi may have just got its ass kicked. If it is 10%, we will be able to live because of fast cast and haste, if it is +50% to +100%, once more, a waste of an update.
Yes yes, you don't need to use this job ability, but what the fuck is the point of adding something new if you don't want people to use it in many, many situations. And seriously, 5 minute duration with 5 minute recast so we can't even cancel it and reapply like Hasso, Seigan, or the new WHM abilities. Unless it makes all of our good spells last more than 5 minutes, you won't be able to cancel to reapply Utsusemi, meaning that they made something that is worthless to RDMs soloing. What the hell?
Honestly, there has to be a Part III, this can't be all for RDM and SMN especially after the huge amount of shit WHM got. I don't even play anymore and this dissapoints me. Lol
gonna be awesome lvling now with lolmeleerdm, "HAY IM LOWERING ITS RESISTANCE TO THUNDER, NUKE THUNDER NOW". Wondering how significant this extending on recast might be, if it'll warrant having stupid composure up when soloing.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
oh, wow. 10/10
Wellllllllllllllllllll from the smn perspective,
I'm interested in the new 75 BPs being adjusted. This sounds very promising for the job.
As for the RDM, they got exactly what people expected: en-spell 2s, and a new stance to improve melee abilities. Let's all wait until we see the effects. I am rather intrigued at the part where it says that each strike's damage increases with successful swing. RDM + MNK roll and Auspice = the new premier DD against high defense mobs? lol
SE is trolling. I know it. Come one, enspell2s? Do they only get their info from Alla or some shit? Ugh, at least you can kill VV or Bune that much faster!1!1 LOL! At least we don't have to worry about resisting slow and shit on sky gods or something. is kind of nice maybe? :/
Did I read it wrong? According to the description:
(subsequent blows by characters for whom multiple attacks are possible do not receive this effect).
I interpreted this as first hit receiving the enspell but not the following hits after.
WHY THE FUCK? WHY? GOD FUCKING DAMN IT.
Wont proc on DAs?
