    The faces in this chapter was just priceless, and it looks like Eiji, Mashiro, Akina, and Aoki are all doing romances of different kinds. Mashiro's sounds exactly like Bakuman. A manga writer writing about manga writers where one of the manga writers is doing a one-shot about manga writers. Talk about some serious xzibit action going on.

    I don't think he's going to do anything like Bakuman (in terms of drawing manga at least) more of trying to build a romance from just the characters nonverbal interaction, very similar to how he and Azuki both liked each other from afar for a long time before they actually got "together." If that's the case it will basically play to Mashiro's strengths since he's not only been there personally, but he won't have to focus on dialog at all (since he wants to do it textless like Eiji did) and just concentrate on making the best art he can.

    I'm really liking where this is going though, it will be very interesting to see how the different authors fare with romance while still keeping it shounen enough for jump.

    I guess you're right about that. That makes sense. I guess I just misread it when he was talking about his idea, and what Takagi said. He said something along the lines of 'waiting for serialization before confessing'.. thought that meant for Mashiro's idea.

    Either way.. it's definitely building up to something awesome.
