Sure, you might have already played Tales of Vesperia on the Xbox 360. Maybe you own it, maybe you don't. We dunno!

The demo for the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia has been dated for Japan: July 13. The demo will be available on the PlayStation Store. No word whether new character, pirate girl Patty Fruel, will be in the upcoming demo.

Tales of Vesperia hits PS3s this fall.

We contacted Namco Bandai Games America about its plans for a US release and were simply told, "We have not announced Tales of Vesperia (PS3) for the North American region at this time. Therefore, we can not comment on additional content for the PS3 version of the game in Japan."

Just make the dialogue up as you go along, you'll enjoy it better.

This is the first time I've ever read anyone talking about Vesperia's story not making any sense.

I thought the story was pretty straight forward in what was being told. The only Tales game that I did say "wtf!?" to many times was Legendia. It had so so so much potential for a much larger game, but they gave up and made the main game story really fucked.

Legendia sucks period. It's one of the worst Tales games for reasons that stretch far beyond the storyline. The only good part is the "after game."

It will get localized, I mean for fucksake they localized the PS3 port of Trusty Bell.

They also skipped over "Tales of Rebirth" and localized the simpler, inferior "Tales of Legendia." Just as well, the PS2 version of "Tales of Symphonia" -- one of their most praised titles ever -- was not brought to the United States.

Namco doesn't always domesticate sensibly. They've done whatever's affordable before. If anything, "Eternal Sonata" would be evidence supportive of that, not to the contrary.

How is that evidence? They localized it for 360/PS3 and I am damn sure Tales of series fanbase is a lot bigger than Trusty Bell's. It will come, if it doesn't some other publisher from Europe will pick it up and just import that shit like I did with Tales of Eternia PSP.
