    Firefox crashing non stop.

It started off by crashing when I had it minimized, now it has crashed 3x as I try to make this post! Anyone else having issues? It's only happening on my laptop, I haven't DL'd or installed anything in about a week. It gives me no message, firefox just disappears.

    Maybe found the problem...
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y1/...askmanager.jpg

Not sure what's going on here, I appear to be using all of my RAM up and my PF Usage too. Things I can think of that I have done recently, shared my wireless printer with my desktop, I assume it communicates with it via my laptop, since the desktop isn't wifi capable. Also I set up TVersity on my desktop to stream all my media to my PS3.

Tell us what you do with it:

    Pages opened/tabs opened
Add ons ; do you have a million installed?
    Any specific theme used?
Some sites actually do cause firefox to do this. I occasionally have to restart firefox

Have you tried uninstall/resinstall with a fresh copy, no adds ons/etc

Ewww.. that's a huge bitch pagefile!

Looks like you have enough memory in your system, and not much of it being used - everything seems to be going straight to the pagefile. 34 processes running is fairly low, so it's probably one or two programs doing funny stuff. Possibly ad/spy/malware..

Do this for me - post a screenshot of your running processes, including the non-user ones. Also, grab a copy of Hijack This, run it and post the logfile so we can see what's going on in your registry.

As some sort of malware or virus is the first thing that pops into my head simply due to what your task manager shows. You can also try a "hard" reset with firefox, which is just short of reinstalling the program.

Simply delete your profile folder, this might solve the issues you're experiencing; but you will lose bookmarks, password, extensions, themes. (You can back up your bookmarks and passwords before you do this - good idea to probably just make a copy of your profile folder first before deleting it)

I'd definitely check the malware / virus route first though.

in my experience, when an otherwise stable app that's in charge of managing personal information (especially browsers) starts exploding, it's usually a sign that something's trying to hook into it and poorly, like a piece of malware or spyware. the HUGE pagefile is definitely NOT normal either so i agree with the above 2 posters. you probably got a bug on your system.

Hmm.. You're pretty clean actually. You do have Java loaded though, which is a resource pig.

I'm not sure what could be causing the problem here..

After I restarted my Laptop the PF Usage went down and the ram actually was available to use again. Also was able to start my Malware software and it's scanning now found a few objects so far, that it didn't find yesterday previously to being updated.

Should I tell it to remove selected?

looks like you HAD some malware on your system but it's either completely hooked in and hiding behind a rootkit or it's gone. i'd love to know what's paging so much memory out.

Try running combofix in safe mode - Malware Bytes might be missing a rootkit.
