first episode was last week and it was the same as the pilot.

yes, the real season 1 premier episode, was last night.
fuckin weak dawg, i guess a torrent will have to do
Spoiler: show
Would probably make sense since they are probably using same casting/production company. For the tribunal you mean Baltars? The woman on it was a blonde so if she was it would have to be the Quorum.
edit: overall I enjoyed the episode but they need to start interconnecting the storylines cause outside of greystone, adama, 1st cylon and lil billy adama I could give a fuck about the other characters atm.
I was thinking back in season 1 when that Lt. was running around the ship asking people about an explosion on the galactica, then blamed Adama, then Adama had the Lt. thrown in the brig. The person I think she is was a nobody character (don't think she even had any lines) and she was one of the 3 civilians sitting on the independent tribunal panel.
Zoe pisses me off.
zoe has a b*tch face. and i missed the show again <3 dvr
lol'd at patton oswalt as Leno/Stewart. Hope he becomes a regular
Oh yeah, this weeks episode was great.
Spoiler: show
I mean its meant to be shock us but
Spoiler: show
If you watch some of the deleted scenes from the pilot, Adama finds out that Zoe was involved and says:
Spoiler: show
so not really surprised, but it did give me chills.
lol @ the badass brother being gay.
just watched ep2 and thought it was pretty good, digging some of the side stuff they are bringing in like the uncle of billy and the group family stuff/leader or the one shit.
ep 3 will be ready later on tonite, hoping for some goodness
Long story short, I missed BSG entirely but plan on borrowing it all from a friend when I get back to England in August. If I start watching Caprica (online streams) will I be completely lost or not? I read this is a prequel to the events of BSG so I should be ok. =)
caprica starts before BSG by about 40ish years so you wont really be missing out on anyone
just know that the kid in Caprica, adama's kid, is Admiral Adama from BSG. that's really all you need to know.
was it 60? i guess it's had to be more then 40 since that's when the cylon war started. add on 20 for cylon development and i guess you are right.
just watched the 3rd ep and am pretty impressed so far, certainly alot different then BSG which i imagine is what they are going for.
also noticed that the PR chick that was brought in to help greystone is (i think) what's her name? Cat i think? From BSG. not 100% sure on that one but she looks the same anyway.
I think 58 years is what the promo release stated.
Caprica is being written so that new fans don't have to have watched BSG. People that have watched BSG already will obviously pick up on more things, but you should have no problems watching Caprica without seeing it.
A friend of mine is sort of in the same boat, he didn't have the time to marathon a 60 hour series, so he just watched the first miniseries before starting Caprica.
i didn't like her that much in BSG, and i think her story got the chopping block, like u know she wasn't who she said she was and that she was some kind of drug mule before the cylons invaded.
they could have went into it a bit more tho, maybe they did and i can't remember. too much of a whiny bitch in BSG and i didnt like how they tried to make her on par with thrace near the end.
