Simple simple question! Full or Compact?

I've been super curious about what you guys use and why?

I know people play compact for the sake that they use to play fps games before this, maybe wow?

I can play both, since I play compact on laptop, and full on desktop.

Surprisingly you get use to compact very fast.

I love full because of my G-11 Keyboard, and it makes the game much easier in my prospective

OH and I suppose controller would be a option as well.

Sucks using 2 usb ports for one controller (wireless, with receiver and play and charge so it doesn't turn off and force me to restart XI)

Full, but I use so many custom binds (via windower) it's like I'm not even playing the same game anymore. Pressing ctrl+alt for every little action sucks, more people need to start binding to weird shit like me!

I use full keyboard, just a habbit I guess. Whenever I'm just sitting at my computer, my right hand casually rests on number pad/arrow keys area. Left hand hangs out around Alt-Tab or so. :X

Compact + Gamepad. PS2 game pad is actually the most easiest and convenient way to macro my way through things. Compact is due to too many FPS shooters, my fingers are always resting at "WAD"

Compact and PS2 controller.
Playing other games for years before FFXI made me too fond of WASD. Also, I like being able to have my right hand free if needed (and now with baby in the house this is invaluable), the PS2 pad is set up so that all character movement is on left analog stick/arrows/shoulderbuttons as well.

Full, I've tried compact on laptop and don't really care for it. Same with gamepad.

Compact - have alliance targetting set to U and D so need to be on compact setting. Still move etc with number pad though - I'm very right-handed so can't deal with the whole WSAD malarky.

Compact with alliance targetting set to T and G and a ton of keybinds. Moving your hands off the home row is stupid and slow, lern2type and you'll appreciate compact.

I always use Compact, dont know why I started, but it just felt more like a MMO type setup for me. Granted this was like 8 years ago, but yea I actually play full time with a controller on my PC now. The reason I use a Controller over anything is just simplicity, Vent everything is all on one controller and nothing over laps.

Compact all the way. D-Pad controls (Menu/Target Cursor) on IJKL keys for targeting, so I can just leave my fingers on the home row until I need to hit a macro.

Controller sometimes for moving while hitting macros on the keyboard.
