Another simple question! 1st or 3rd person camera?

This evolved from a heated debate in LS wherein each side of the camera angle fence thought the other was insane. Do you primarily use 1st person view or 3rd person?

I naturally go to 1st person when walking around only because I can look to the left and right quicker, but once I'm in melee combat, I have to be in 3rd person view. If I'm only doing ranged attacks/casting spells from afar I don't really settle on either view.

3rd, better feild of vision, avoids aggro easier for spell casts (as tank), only time i find 1st person useful is for screenshots >_>. in all tactical sense being able to see more gives you a greater advantage.

I couldn't play in 1st-person because I use my character's casting animation to gauge when I can start casting my next spell without getting cockblocked by the stupid "you must wait longer" message.

Most of teh time I use third-person, but when riding a chocobo, or climbing that mountain in Attohwha chasm, then I would be in first person.

First person most of the time. Started out as a Thief, and positioning was just easier in first person so I've gotten used to it. I sometimes run around in third person if I'm trying to see something, but I also run around in wireframe usually so it's not as useful.

I'm almost always 3rd person except for when travelling I have a weird habit to switch back and forth between 1st and 3rd to a random musical rhythm.

3rd person 99% of the time. I will press "first person" key twice at time to center the camera in front of me quickly, but there is no real use beside this.

However, I like walking around in first person mode when I'm bored, because it make the environment look better. Place like korroloka tunnel look great in 1st person.

This is exactly what I do as well. Outside of screenshots or spinning in circles while casting spells lol.
