About the killing of roberts bastard children, did they acturrly know who and who wasn't a bastard child or were they just killing any child who had black hair?

Episode one was great. Episode two is AMAZING. Theon scene, all of Tyrion, Arry and Gendry, My damn eyes watered at the sight of Ghost. Too much greatness to write about. They are doing the best I've ever seen of book to show.

That was a good episode. Unfortunately, complaints arise (again) when we get to Dragonstone.

I know it happens in the books too, but I found the Melisandre and Stannis scene to be pretty bad. This is only hinted at after you already know what comes out of it... which, in my opinion, completely changes the way you feel about the entire thing.

In the books, you have seen the shadows grant Stannis two wins before you're told what he had to do (and it might even go over your head). You've seen the end and by then it justifies the means. In the TV series, not only does it feel weird to see him bend so easily and for no real reason, it also feels like it takes away from Stannis's character.

I think this scene could've been handled/presented better.

Sorry if I seem picky, but Stannis/Melisandre/Dragonstone was what I was looking forward to the most. Oh well, at least Davos is still god-tier Also I can't wait to see Harrenhal and Renly's camp.

I took it as them killing every black-haired child they found, but they obviously knew about some specific leads; with Gendry having left they wouldn't have stumbled upon him being a bastard or black-haired so I imagine it's either a combination or Robert was fucking like crazy and someone kept track of them all, but that points to someone like Varys or Littlefinger which seem a little weird for the context.

Cersei is obsessed with her bastard killing Robert hate campaign, and they aren't exactly hidden away like secret forgotten heirs in other fantasy works.

Loved the scene when tyrion interrupted the small counsel... Talking about his adventures then says he has a lot to be thankful for and glared at littlefingers.

Don't remember that scene in the book but was an awesome reminder of tyrion subtly acknowledging littlefinger set him up.

Joffrey sent the killer to win Robert's approval after Robert said that we put down crippled dogs why not crippled children, but Littlefinger was the one who told Catelyn and Ned that Tyrion owned the dagger thus sending the Starks + Lannisters on a collision course.

inevitable they would have been at it sooner or later given who Ned is and who Jamie/Cersei are but Littlefinger sped events up and almost sacrificed Tyrion's life playing his games

Littlefinger told Kat that the dagger was Tyrion's, which lead up to her wanting him captured because of that.

Littlefinger tells Catelyn he lost the dagger to Tyrion, which is a lie. He actually lost the dagger to Robert, so technically he's the one that sets him up.

While it's true Joffrey is the one responsible for the attempted murder in Winterfell, he didn't mean to blame Tyrion or anything. He just wanted to make Robert proud since Robert mentions someone should put Bran out of his misery. Tyrion is thrown into the middle of this by Littlefinger.
