Believe it or not, some people actually do care, even the tiniest bit, about the retarded and unnecessary ceremony that accompanies graduating highschool amongst all their friends. They will realize the frivolity of it all much later on in life, even in this most likely short-lived juvenile relationship of his, but still.

Also, incompletes = withdrawl/fail = no credit = no graduating highschool = no diploma. Yeah he can go get his GED whenever but that's not getting a free diploma just for going to a dance like you're implying.

No, it says in the article that he will still get his diploma upon finishing finals. No GED. And the ceremony isn't any less retarded. The afterparties are what's important.
