Never used it, but well, that post made me *drool*
ok, i never used SC, but im interested... do i just download the .dll and load it up?
nvm, i see have to make xml files... i'll try in a few weeks or somethin when i get bored...
damnit damnit damnit!!!
I just get all my xml's the way I want/need them, and you go and throw <equip> in the mix!
"Now I have to start all over again..." -Willam
j/k. Nice addition, but where do you define the "when" portion? For my Red Mage, I use precast and midcast for all spells (start in fastcast gear, midcast is gear to help spell), is that still possible with <equip>?
Nice work!
One question though--does SC still crash if a script you run inputs two commands? Without SC, you can put say
input /ma "Utsusemi: Ni" <me>
input /ma "Utsusemi: Ichi" <me>
and it'll work fine. With SC loaded, a script like that would cause a crash. Probably not a good idea anyway (reverted to single commands and let SC take care of everything else).
Edit: Welp nevermind, read the update log and it's the first thing mentioned. Sorry
Thank you!!! This plugin is awesome but it drives up the cost of gearing jobs because its so easy to do equip swaps for everything that could possibly need it.
Looks promising :D I've only had a few crashes with spellcast, and that was when I was modifying my sets way back when.
too complex for me
someone write some smn spellcast for me? QQ

ddaydj's is prolly going to be one the best.
but yes same way as <action type="equip" for when, just the type="equip" is move to <equip part instead, all the same attributes still work on that element.
I have working .XMLs, though I've always found Spellcast to be almost more finnicky than it's worth. Like how it sucks ass at changing to idle and engaged sets, and handling my HB macros. I just assume I still have to do that manually most of the time. Someone should write a GUI app that stupid proofs .XML writing.
I am a man, or I would say other words outside this
SO GOOD!
You really do need to make one just for yourself, as it is based so much on the gear you have.
Can use others to see how it works though^^
anyone got some blm xmls already >_>
nvm I lernd2cliknreed
Really awesome, looks fantastic. I'm especially fond of name completion.
Dumb question from someone trying out spellcast for the first time -
Do I need to use the abbreviated names for items from the equipment list, or can I use the full name?
If i can do it, you can do it.
Check out the the XML Examples and tailor it to your gear. Easiest way to get started.
