LM-17 Possible for Repeated Credit Card Decline?

Is that a reason others have seen for perma-banning?

Highly doubt SE would "ban" for a retracted payment. In this case they usually just lock the account in POL and won't let you pass further without immediate payment for the debt.

In before LM-17 just means there is a stop on your account services and not necessarily a ban. LM-11 is what you should get worked up over.

Nope, I've done this almost every month for the last 3 years, I'm always poor and forget to leave the cash in the bank, bank's always empty like a mofo, you're banned for another reason.

The LM-17 notice has been updated to say:

"This account has been banned due to violation of the PlayOnline or FINAL FANTASY XI agreements. Accounts that have been banned will not be reinstated under any circumstances."

And then some other junk. I think LM-11 was updated accordingly to reflect that it's only a temporary ban.

You don't get charged any interest or penalty fee. I've screwed up 3-4 times in the past and they never have did it to me.

They said that all they could tell me was that I violated the Terms of Service. They said they'll do an investigation because I said I didn't do anything of the sort, but we'll see.
