Seems like they had to end the Finn/Rachel and Shoe/Emma relationship a bit too fast. Would of been nice to see, at least, the Shoe/Emma relationship go on for a bit longer. But was a really good episode and nice to see them introducing ppl outside of the school. Sue had me laughing a bunch, they give her some great lines.

And holy shit at the Madonna music video, that was amazing

Outside of them shoving madonna in your face every 30 seconds, I really liked the episode and thought the bits between Shue and Sue were hysterical. I'm torn though, for this 2nd 1/2 of S1 it seems like they are pushing a TON of songs into each episode... so while I think they are all well done and fit nicely, I kind of miss only having 3-4 stand out songs/numbers each episode as it feels more like a show instead of a musical

Overall FANTASTIC episode. Easily series best. I'd give it 12/10

I hate the original "Somewhere Over The Rainbow," but the ukulele version gets me every time, so when Schu sang it at the end I started blubbering. Also, was nice to see him sing something that didn't give me horrific second-hand embarrassment. His songs has easily been the worst for the whole year ("Alone" not withstanding).

Got into this late as hell (husband loathes anything remotely High School Musical-esque so I've been watching them online when he's not around to complain) but freaking love the show - season finale actually had me with a lump in my throat.

Sue Sylvester just cracks me the fuck up with the one liners though - her Madonna bit has to have been the absolute best bit of the whole season.

How can you hate Mr Schu's songs? He's soooo adorable (apart from some of his more dodgy singing faces) - I wouldn't say no to him at all!

But Mr. Schu doing the thong song got me cringing for the whole 45 seconds that was on.

I love Brittany, each time she opens her mouth you have constant hilarious-one liners.

"Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?"
And when Jonathan Groff (Jesse) joined New Directions.
"Mr. Schu, I don't get it, is he your son?" (them having the same haircuts)

Was on the radio the other day that they've expanded Brittany and Santana's roles to make them "full" characters for the next series. Brittany I love because she, well, resembles every Brittany/Britney I've ever taught in terms of intelligence and Barbie-dom.
