I thought it was about V for Vendetta. T.T
Aliens are so boring after reading the Xeelee Sequence books, lemme know when they make a movie out of Exultant.

It'll be interesting to see if they keep the subtle Nazi thing that the 80s miniseries had..
Yes <3 Juiliet
Interview at the Upfronts last week revealed V, which is filming in Vancouver, is planned to run for four seasons. ABC Entertainment president Steve McPherson said at the press conference that, “At this point we believe the show will be four parts, with each consisting of anywhere from 13 to 22 episodes. It will have a beginning, middle and end." Alas, they didn't announce a precise air date.
BTW Moreena Baccarin isn't the only Firefly alum on the show. Alan Tudyk is in the pilot as well!
I guess this is helping lift some of my post-BSG ending depression. There is going to be a lot of interesting sci-fi shows in the next year. Caprica (and of course there is still The Plan to see), V, Flash Forward (based on a novel by one of my favorite sci-fi authors, Robert J. Sawyer), and of course the renewal of Dollhouse.
I hope Marc Singer is in it too.
I hope the planned 4-season run means they have a continuous and coherent story arc planned out. I've been rewatching Babylon 5 the past month or so and that guy had a plan from pilot to finale. Really highlights for me how poorly thought out dramas tend to be today (especially sci-fi).
I vaguely remember watching the original version of this. Trailer looks good and Juliet/Elizabeth Mitchell ftw.
Show is starting sooner then expected.

Looking forward to having a fun T.V viewing winter.
Laura Vandervoot or whatever her name is (Kara from Smallville) is in it too. Juliette and Kara and Aliens? Sounds like a win to me. Really though, I'm looking forward to this show.
Sigh, Independence Day ripped off V, not V ripping off ID4.
I think they just meant how somebody mentioned this being a ID ripoff despite V being out long before ID.
I remember when ID4 was released there were a few articles written drawing comparisons to V (the old series, obviously). Not like Roland Emmerich is known for being all that original.
Show looks too expensive, but awesome. I hope it does well.
where's the red jackets and pants! i think it was 1985. i was 5. my mom was watching this and got scared. my cousin, got home from work and he brought a mouse into the house and it freaked the shit outta my mom.
Oh god they have the woman who played the Orici on SG1. :3 I looooove her.
Won't be as good. we all know it's lizard people now.
I remember watching when I was a kid... we knew it was lizard people then too. The adds had the scene where Donovan hit the lizzie and ripped his mask in the promos for it.
I don't know if this version will be quite so Nazi Germany like, but we'll see. I'm going to watch the first couple of episodes for sure.
Hope they do this right, I loved the original series as a kid.
effects were great at the time but watching a few scenes on youtube made me fucking lol
is marc singer still alive? they gotta get him into this somehow
