I don't see any problems with the games on the list cept maybe Soul Calibur, Nintendogs and possibly 428 (only because I've never heard of it, you'd think one would at least have heard of a game that is supposed to be that awesome).

Along with those, I wouldn't give SSBB or FFXII perfect scores as well. Despite the fact that I love both of those games, they aren't perfect by any stretch.

This is just my opinion obviously, but I prefer their previous games much more (FFX and SSB:M).

The perfect score for this game does make me kind of interested in this game though, might have to try it out whenever I get a PS3 (even if the graphics are kind of watered down in the PS3 version).

Famitsu list is OK. Every game listed there excelled in almost every area from an objective point of view.

FFXII had a great gameplay, state-of-the-art music and graphics, great story and an incredible value (50+ hours of main story, hunts and so on). Now why wouldn't you give it a perfect score?

You may disagree with the new gameplay introduced but that's an "opinion" (it did piss off a lot of old-fashioned dragon quest formula lovers). Technical and artistic aspects of the game are indisputable.

Thought Bayonetta would end up being a flop but I guess I was wrong.

I think people look at the score 10/10 the wrong way. It is not and was never a sign of perfection nor does it make it the "best game ever". Obviously, no game will ever be perfect. Scores in general are dumb (especially nowadays, people see a game get rated 7/10 and assume it's bad...) regardless, even a short list of good and bad points about a game is better than a silly score. Unfortunately people pay the most attention to the figure and not the actual review itself.

That said, this game will be perfect and the best game ever.
