Ninja elemental wheel resistance question

Was doing Oreo today and was casting Huton: ni just before black mages nuked in order to lower its ice resistance.

My question is: exactly how much resistance does a ninja nuke give?

NOTE: I tried searching for my own answer and all that jazz. Couldn't find any exact info though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Elemental Resistance from AM + Ninjutsu wear off after the next nuke? I could have sworn there was some pvp testing on this~

Yes, next magic related move and it wears off.

They have a pretty short duration (10 seconds?) and it's difficult to check with precision if it's worn or not since you have to refresh equip screen. I was going to say that this was probably the origin of that belief, and not that it actually wears off after one spell, but kaeko maybe you checked this yourself or read of someone reliable checking it?

Found this a long time ago on NIN forums. I'll try to dig it up. I distinctly remember a ton of extremely disappointed NINs crying over the fact the 'merit description' reads 'duration' and not 'duration or first hit'.

Almost 100% positive AM wears after 1 hit.
