Ah man, that absolutely sucks... Too many legends from too many walks of life passing away these last couple of months. RIP

I thought about trying to do Philly, but I couldn't rearrange my work schedule to make it viable. I won't be able to get on the road until late on Friday and it's about 5 hours without traffic or stopping. I can barely function without a solid 8 hours of sleep, and if I'm staying in Philly I'd definitely be getting drinks with some friends that live down that way. Playing at comp REL with no sleep and a hangover is very much out of the question for me, haha.

SCG is doing a legacy event in Worcester in July, I will definitely be in attendance since that's local. If you plan on coming up for that let me know!

P3K stuff and some of the non-RL list lands could make the set great. Grove and Canopy are both in dire need of reprints and are played in eternal. I'm mainly hoping for Recruiter.

Without access to the reserve list it's not gonna do shit to Legacy.

The said Wasteland will drop in price like crazy, which is nice for anyone without a playset.

yeah, i've already got all of the duals i need for my deck to run properly and i finished my forces last summer. the worst that could happen is i might lose some value on FoW or the small handful of other money cards i currently own, but i can live with that.

I play Legacy and own playsets of a lot of staples including Force of Will and Wasteland. I will gladly take the short term hit to Wasteland if it means more people will start playing in local events.

The store near where I live only really does Draft/Standard/Tiny Leaders, so getting to play real Magic if at least for awhile would be nice.

i didn't think tiny leaders existed outside of internet discussion forums tbh. seems like a really weird choice for the one thing they do that isn't standard. do people actually show up for that?

i'm spoiled for choice as far as nearby legacy events are concerned, there's probably 3 or 4 places within 30 minutes that have weekly events.

For some reason Cape Cod loves Tiny Leaders, I honestly have no fucking idea why. I understand it kinda evolved as an EDH for poors, but poor people don't really exist on Cape Cod.

Actually I take that back since there is a surprising amount of white trash on the Cape, but those kinds of people don't play Magic.
