Wiki lists Leather sub for cursed gloves as 41 but FFXIAH has it as undefined.

is 41 reliable or should I not go by that?

it should be t1 without leather support or the gloves, you could also test it urself if ur leather isn't skilled already

Eh my leather is 52 on the dot and I have a few angel skins stockpiled. I'm just getting antsy and really getting annoyed at leathercraft
