I watched a program recently about a lama in Tibet who died, and they went to search for his reincarnation, finding a boy who was born a day after he died, who knew shit like the lama's favorite praying beads, the lamp he kept in his room. They went through about 10 of his personal effects, and the boy chose all of them correctly. It was spooky shit to watch. Especially when you consider that the boy would have had no way of knowing which items were his previous self's because they were kept at the monastery the whole time.
