How do I dl and play DS games

I searched online and there seems to be 5 different products that can do this. What is the best in terms of price/abilities/ease of use.

Also I want to play ff tactics (original for PS) but all the copies I find online are like 30+ dollars. I used to have a PS emulator on my computer but it confused the fuck out of me and my save files kept auto deleting after a few days and I cried a lot. What is the pest PS emulator program to use. I don't have a controller to for the computer if that matters.

5 different products? you sure? last I looked into it there was only 1 product (which works like a charm) but costs $100

I like the Acekard 2i...can find it as low as $16, and thats all you need.

This acekard thing seems to be the cheapest which is good.

CycloDS is the best, but the most expensive. You're pretty much good with any of them though, M3 and Acekard are both good choices for cheaper alternatives. Just don't get an R4.

What makes cylco the best. If acekard can only play half the games or it causes lag then I don't really want it. I imagine I will get a lot of use out of stealing games from hard working developers so I might as well make it a good one.

I see cyclods black, which seems to be the deluxe model for 50 bucks and regular model for 35.

Better developer support and some (useless) extra features. Pretty much any flashcard will play every DS game.

Are there any issues with lag for them?

No. Apparently Castlevania can have some slowdown issues at time, but it's supposedly an issue with the microSD card you use, not the flashcart.

I own the M3 Simply and it's been working perfectly for a long time now. My friend has the R4 and it works great too, pretty sure all the cheap ones are identical besides a sticker and UI change.

Just get the M3, an ~2GB micro SD card and a USB micro SD Card reader thing.

R4DS, R4 DS, R4 revolution, R4 DS adapter $7.99 if you have your own microSD card. Just drag and drop files from the cd onto the SD card, then drop Roms into the APPS folder and that's it.

Pretty sure there's text reader apps on every other flashcart. Savestates are nice, but I only ever used them to see what multiple dialogue options were on RPG's and stuff.

Yea but You never know when you need to turn your DS off quickly then you can find a fucking save point and what not.

I can see the convenience, but you can also keep a DS in sleep mode for nearly a week straight instead of shutting it off. It'd save a lot of time of having to backtrack in a dungeon to find a save point, though. I kinda wish the R4 had that capability.

yea but problem with keeping it in sleep is

1.You can forget it in sleep and leave it alone(Ive had that happen where i kept it out of sight and though it was off)
    2. turn it off on accident
    3. Battery drain and dies
