Anyways, tl;dr, it got very dull and boring for me. What next, fantasy quests/missions/items?

I read the winning entry only and I was left very... underwhelmed.. I am no master of writing quest dialogue but... something about the whole idea that our characters were some orphans in the care of the Tavnazian Cathedral leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I couldn't get the rest to load up, so I didn't bother.

The winning entry fucked my PC for a bit. Until I got it to opened and was disappointed to find that shitty elvaan grandma there, followed by shitty image making (why is it JPEGed, and ugly button too). Then got bored very fast when it descended into "quest dialogue" (with no apparent hero) and... blah.

Although I don't think anything will beat the contest awhile back to create a new job. That one was win.

Tomiko: Yeh such a contest would be cool but wouldn't it spill into an argument as to what and who would be overpowered by such armor and such? It will be quite an endless argument I think, with people's views from multiple aspects, there'll be no solid agreement.

That's how I feel. They hype job updates and then offer one kind-of update to Ninja and a bone to BLU's and whatever they do to circles, which will probably be reducing to 5min recast and adding some additional effect. Nothing to get exceited over.

I'm guessing they're putting a lot of effort towards XIV to get it ready for that promised Sept beta.

I was visting the stratics site and i just have to say that's it's a waste of a website, seriously.

The only type of information I could find was was the type of stuff you see in the game manual.

The forum only has like 10 people who post from what i counted on the first page.

What a joke.



I'm just annoyed that today wasn't more job adjustments or anything else really other than this shit.
