I have to say, this is probably the only update I've ever been disappointed with at least based on the update teasers.

Maybe there will be something awesome detailed in the patch notes update day.

Mhh how ironic. They're expanding the bell octaves so we can play full songs, yet they forget that the official game has limited macro lines lol. The only way to put together a proper song would be to use windower. Silly Square Enix. =.="

Wonder if they'll add a lot of stuff during the update and will only post about it then or if Summoners still won't get their new avatars. Guess we won't be seeing any other job adjustments either.

I can not be mad as my sig shows ~_~ <3 so happy! Funny most people are mad about this but this is the best update teaser yet for me.

It is beyond me why SE wastes time on adding this as a sneak peek, they could've just added this small and MEANINGLESS crap in the other update notes and not highlight this piece of shit information.

As for this, NIN is a worthless job if you ask me and shoudl of been put in the update notes too, but it is not. Deal with it big boy.

Well, you can't please everybody... so obviously there's going to be a few people out of so many who will whine about just about anything, not always the same people but there's going to be some.
Then you have your folks who just love to whine, period.

If you hadn't noticed, "avatars" subtly became "avatar" in the most recent interview.

I think you guys are missing the point. Know what would stop bitching? Update details that make it worth paying $12 a month. How many people were bitching when the whm update was posted (and actually detailed)? We don't have anything close to that this time around. Instead nearly everything this update is fucking useless barring new missions. Oh wait I forget, those get done the first day then it's like an update never happened for 4 more months. Go missions.

Maybe they are showing this rubbish part of the update in hopes people won't flood their servers when downloading the update. I realize they post the long page of updates during it, but this new bit is a good way to piss some people off into not bothering to check the POL website to even see what else is in store for FFXI.

Less POL errors during update, for once it would be nice.
