Yeah, I'm fully aware ... most NMs have one instance in the .dats. There are exceptions and it's quite possible this new monster follows that model instead of conventional wisdom.

I mean, NMs can't cross zonelines or anything like that... never have, never will?!!?!

Edit: for the record, i don't think it's a new NM either.

The issue is that they are found at varying places in the DAT files, signifying they are just normal mobs. At least to me, or maybe they're all NMs that are a lotto pop off different types of mobs?

They are yovra NMs. They are normal mobs that are "NMs", basically. Heh. Same deal and everything, hide in the sky, fall down and rapeville!

nifty vulture looking dragon thing was impossible to gauge, xarc, had it in the main entrance tunnel... LS on kujata was dealing with knockback while tanking it... didn't look too hard, I think they had less than 10 there. They said they didn't get any drops.

Saw a Taru RDM soling this today, he was just kiting it around the rock where the OP NPC stands.

It's apparently a pretty simple solo, just finding a safe area is the difficulty. Haven't had a chance to try myself.

I'd say it's a Gustaberg thing, but :shrug:. Stinging Sophie, Maighdean Uaine are like that too. I've no clue why. Stray Mary too IIRC.

I initially thought it might be because of the varied spawn areas, but considering mobs like Tom Tit Tat and the Rogetsurin NMs which have a *huge* spawn area, I doubt it's related.

Just found out a little something about the new WoTG areas last night -- I could not summon my NPC fellow in Beaucedine-S. I haven't tested it yet, but presumably Xarcabard-S is the same.

Too bad, I was hoping to get some XP for her with the various BLU spell-learning parties in the zone.
